yeah.... if it's HUGE log

There is a limit of (i think, i'd have to look again) 100,000 rows of data. I seem to recall a 15-20 min log on a 7194 was approaching 15-20 thousand rows of data logging with a laptop. So the program has on the order of 1 hour + capability. Can't remember, but it was conservatively high.

There is also a column limit (parameter number limit), also very high and beyond normal expectation....

I had about 30 or 40 minutes of logging in the file, didn't realize it was recording. The CSV was about 30MB and crazy long, I just removed any line that had an RPM of less then 1800 and it worked. The ending file I think was around 26MB and don't remember how many lines, just knoe it was a lot.

I only planned on doing a 15minute log with out cruse control on and then a 15 minute with it on. I was having issues getting the program to take control of the predator and must have hit record while I was in the driveway. I looked over to start recording once I got out of traffic and it was already recording and I didn't want to start over. Guess it ended up being a good thing though cause my LTFT2 seemed to move around more this log then it had on any before(0 to 2.36), LTFT1 stayed about the same(.78 to 1.48). Oddly they both averaged 1.56 I think, I would have to look at the log again to double check.

bumpity bump bump...

out of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of users we have, only 24 responded???

that's sad... very sad... very very sad...

Hey Grump... I think our next update/revision (which is due to be out shortly ;-) ) should be a pay-for app... either outright, or we could recompile it to make it "shareware" and only allow 1 or 2 logs to be analyzed - and after that it disables itself...

what'cha think??

;-)

then we need to get more "donations" from the site, so that we can support and maintain both the app itself and be able to keep the site up....

spread the word!!
