What is the proper way to add it to the tuner. Do you take the truck back to stock and then do a tool update or do i add tune file to the tool. Thank you Johnan

My truck is in the shop now getting new seat covers per some recall and they are inspecting my lift but I will get it back Thursday night. I will download it and drive it Friday and this weekend I will keep you posted on how it is acting. Thank you

Just curious what did you focus on with this change. The tranny jumping. Did youlook at the idle issue or shift firmness. Thanks Johan

Johan,

Here is my last tune that I installed that is causing tranny being rough and shaking at WOT @ 40-55 mph.

Johan,

Hopefully you can have tune back to me before weekend so I can give it a try.

Thanks

Tried the tune this morning- didn't experience any of the shaking that I described before. Also seemed a bit smoother in general when accelerating from low rpms without the transmission downshifting.

I'll keep monitoring it and let you know if the shaking comes back.

Thanks again

johan,

I installed the tune and I still have the shaking at WOT @ 40 to 55 mph. So its still having problem. The shift points seem quicker also between shifts but not as firm as before. Any more ideas what it could be? I also modified the paramathers on this tune. Could modifying your tune keep causing it, or should I just try your tune as it is?

What parameters did you modify? And i would suggest trying to run the tune without the parameters modified just to check.

I also over weekend tried with changing parameters and still having same problem. The parameters I changed at first was the throttle sen to 20%, shift points 1-2 to 6000, 3-4 to 6100 & rpms in drive to plus 600. So I tried them both and no change.

Over weekend I tried without changing parameters and still same problem. Just had to clarify my last post.

Are you sure you loaded the tune in properly? I saw you posted some questions on how to so i have to ask.
