Mike had a lot going on yesterday and jetting into the computer to read your post quickly caused me to miss read it.I think my pcm in about 200/250mi on the adaptive's will get a little better or start getting worse.Even though the log look's better you can still hear the motor surging in a steady rhythm.Working with my tuner and loading as many tune's as i have i think it's still a little more than the Pcm will be able to tune out.If Johan can tune the starting surge out some more the Pcm might be able to do the rest. Please advise as how you guy's want to proceed and Thank's for this show of Great Customer Service.

Also please consider keeping Mike(my tuner) in the loop so this will be common knowledge for our cmr tuner's for all to have access to.

New one, just see how this behaves, i have seen some vehicles/combos react positive to negative trims vs positive so this file here is set to have more negative trims. File is unlocked.

Have not really looked at it, i was under the impression Mike wanted to mess with it.
I would like a log with more pids in it, preferably the ones i have listed in the sticky.

He believe's the Exhaust Transport Delay will take care of it.So i don't know if he has anything else he could try.(He was hoping for the new paramater) If this can be solved without it ok.I was hoping for a solid solution to this problem for all to benifit from.It would be nice if you two could colaborate on this one for the good of all.But i also relieze you both have heavy work schulde's to keep up with.My tune is not finished and if you resolve the surge he still has to finish the tune, so it being locked prevent's that.Let me e-mail him see if maybe he can call you or post up his thought's.In the mean time i'm going to put some mile's on my best tune(your tune 002) and log the pid's you have listed in the sticky. This seem's to be a difficult problem in the Dodge truck tuning world(being so many of the cammed truck's have it to some degree) and it need's to be solved.I have dealt with one of the worse case's for a over a year now (it drive's me nut's lolol) so i know what other's are dealing with.We have good cmr tuner's for our truck's but don't know if anyone has fiqured it out.If so too many of us still have it.If Mike, one of our best LX tuner's is having some diffuiculty with it then where do we turn to? (option's are limited and no guarantee's) I consider myself lucky that Diablo has taken a notice to my plea.Without Diablo's help i don't know if or when this problem will get resolved.

This is a post from a thread i started. It made me laugh till i relized he knew exactly what it's like.

I have the same issues that my tuner can't seem to tune out. Makes me want to pull this cam out. It's annoying having my parents or friends ride with me and constantly ask "is your truck ok? what's it doing and why is it doing that? why is it so jumpy? Why did it just die?" Sucks.

Just want to chime in and say I have similar surgeing issues with a 6.1 cammed 5.7 Ram

Well i have personally done several Ram's and a crap load of LX/LC's with cam's and have yet to have to alter the transport delay tables.
Get me a log with more pids in it so i can get a better idea on what might be going on and we will see.

Just thought of something, i edited the 002 file here, please try this and see if the surge improves. I have a feeling it might.

That helped a little more. The surge is getting lighter.Seemed to go through the surge a little lighter and a little faster. It also got rid of the fluctuation when stopping. The wideband was showing a little leaner at time's though.I'm guessing the adaptive's are playing with it.Johan your taming the beast slowly but surely.lolol I''m going to drive it over the weekend and see what the adaptive's can do.I'll let you know what happen's.Have a Good Weekend Guy's.Thank's

Put some mile's on her,but nothing has changed.Still got a surge to low RPM acceleration.Still you have made a major improvement in the surge.Daily driving is much improved.Johan i made a log with all the pid's in the sticky.(check your e-mail)I tried to vary my driving as much as i could to give you a good log to go by.
