Qoute] to be a registered AMA pro rider would also be required to run an AMA registered 3 digit number. end quote.

"a rider in the ametuer series who is given the respect to be a registered AMA pro rider would also be required to run an AMA registered 3 digit number."
Key word here is ametuer, rookie. And yes you are registered a 3 digit number until you complete a certian amount of "AMA PRO" series events. Pastrana for example has retained 199 as his number to keep and Bubba stewart was given 7 because it was the only low number to his liking available at the time he graduated from an ametuer pro or a class rider to the ama pro series and the same gos for RC "The Goat" with the #4 plate.

Look at the ego on that guy. LOL Im still happy with my predator. If I had a newer truck I'd be pissed as hell because they didnt get what was (and I believe still is) being advertised. Not a good way to do business.

If the dodge guys are having trouble w/ dealer issues the what about the Ford & Chevy Guys are they also having voided warrenties, what about the Hemi tuner would it not affect it the same way.

Ford found out about my Dialblo. they siad "if you buy a Supper Chip from us we WILL cover all problems"
and that the Predator pushed the truck to hard!
now Dodge on the other hand did not find anything but a gauge and said "VOIDED"

I'm sure it would affect any Dodge car or truck the same way.....
The dealer I go to doesn't seem to know much at all about mods and so they don't care too much about it. At least they were like that when i had my 03. They asked me a lot of questions about all the crap I had on the truck and they were amazed when I told them I was making 500hp at the wheels....

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, but am wishing that maybe I had signed up and checked it out first. I've got a 06 truck that I use for my business and was looking for a little more towing power, primarily for snowplowing and hauling heavy loads, along with a few more MPG. I'm in the position now where I had purchased this programmer because I thought it would be the best choice. IT IS ADVERTISED AS NOT BEING DETECTABLE. Now I'm scared to death to even open the box and try the thing out. It's not just the fact that there may or may not be problems with the unit or program, its also the fact that through this whole thread there has not been a single reply from DiabloSport to say they are investigating or addressing the problem!!!! I'm really starting to wish I would have bought the SMARTY instead! Not only do the above issues concern me, but what about the ECM damage that has been reported? Are those two isolated cases because of user error when loading or saving the stock program? I bought this programmer because I was under the impression that they were the safest kind of upgrade you could do. Am I just paranoid or what????

i havent heard of anyone that had a smarty and went in for repairs and it went ok,i think any programmer can be detectable if they look ahard enough,if you bring it in for a repair thats directly related to more power then im sure they will find out no matter what tuner you have, adding anything is a risk for waranty,if you want your waranty i would recomend not adding any tuner, maybe a box of somekind is better.

They did address this in a different thread a few weeks ago. They just have not responded to this particular thread. I agree w/ Duallydave that if you still care about your warranty you will have a better shot of not being detected by using a plug in box. They fool the computer into thinking you have not gone over any preset limits of boost or fuel so they are harder to detect. Just make sure you unplug it before going in to the dealer for any work......
My Predator is off the truck right now and I don't know yet if it is going back on.......
