T42/4 speed TCM test crom available

Blueox, the Crom listed in your tools list above is not the most current (trinity_gm_can_gas-1r08g_update.crom )( actually hi ) and you need to also have the ( trinity_gm_j1850-1r08d_update.crom )

So hook up to your computer and DsDownloader and update to all the most current software first.

when completed this line :
CROM version = 'trinity_manager-1r08b 04/14/2011 01:41:27 PM boot4'.
should look like this:
CROM version = 'gm_can_gas-1t08hi 12/13/11 15:48:24 boot3'.

There is something very odd with your trans calibration, your VIN does not even show what you have listed above as ever being for your vehicle, i have seen those trans calibrations in cars.
By any chance you would not be able to get it flashed at the dealer ? Your engine cals are pretty old also.
You can go on this site and verify if you want, http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web just enter your vin and it will show you everything that is available for your vehicle.

What do i tell the dealer the reason i want it reflashed so it does'nt throw up a red flag?

just tell him you want the latest calibrations.
tell them you heard on the forums that it makes the truck run better...

when i got the file i restored the original file then updated i checked the list it did say 1t08hi after that i installed the 87 oct thats when everything went for the craps no idea:( ok so how do i send i back iguess if thats the only thing i can do

Got the pcm/tcm reflashed at the dealer, the tcm tune installs now and shifts seem quite a bit firmer but cant tell much difference on torque management. I'll drive it some more and see how it does.

After a couple of days of around town driving on the firm shift canned tune, this is pretty nice. Firm but not jerk your head off. At part throttle don't really notice alot of change, but firmer. At 75% throttle plus things get quite a bit firmer and 1-2 for me is quite snappy since i've got the corvette servo. Going to install hard shift tune tonight and a couple of days of that and we'll give more feed back then.
