Does it boot normally? If it does bring it to the truck and Restore the Original Backup. Then bring it inside, open DS Downloader and select UPDATE TOOL. Thats where you pick the CROM file, not Send Tune File to Tool. Then you'll have to power cycle, reselect the vehicle, and then reinstall your tune.

ok because i was just worried it maybe replaced my original backup with the tune file i sent to it and it wouldnt contain my original backup anymore

i know it maybe doesnt matter but what does send tune file to tool actually do?

Its for custom CMR tunes.

need help here again. i took my trinity to my truck and tried to restore the truck so i could do the DSDownloader stuff. It booted up i went to original back. went to restore it and it wont restore my original backup now. it comes up "TCM: error write failed (-18)" I tried it again and when it boots up it comes up and says a tune didnt finish installing do you want to install original backup now. i hit yes and the same code keeps coming up. i cant get it to do anything. i brought it in and plugged it into my computer and the exact same thing happens as when i hook it up to my truck. what do i do with it now? my trucks pcm is tuned to mpg boost and my tcm is already stock because you didnt have a program for the tcm when i installed the mpg tune. i checked before i tried to put it back to stock and that was the last written tune. need some serious help here guys
