Tried it. Didn't work for me. Fortunately I saved the file to my computer so I can put it back on now.

Just got off the phone with Jon from Diablo. We worked on it for about an hour and finally got my car to calibrate and load a tune. We're good to go. I'm sure they will have everything figured out for the others real soon.

Jon - Thanks man!

yes we do have a possible tempory fix. it requires a call to us. Since I have been the one to work this situation out with our engineer You may contact me if youd like.

also you can delete that DRG file on your intune directory. then unplug then plug back in and allow it to check to see if it needs another update. if it does not autodownload a new DRG file to your system. then call us up shoot me an email at [email protected] with your INFO.xml file attached.

also please post up possitive or negative. This may not work for all but right now it has worked. I would like to confirm it again so if someone with some time please call me on the tech line and I will go through the process with you as well.

Can some of you post your calibration numbers.

to get cal numbers goto settings-tool info- vehicle info-cal id, generally you have to be in the vehicle to get this info.
Mine is 050302232AD
The serial number is CIA9YE2-1
Made 12/5/11 7:45:46

I removed the file. Nothing changed. I can't delete the vehicle info because I need a code. I can't get a code because I can't register. Any other way to restore the settings to factory fresh?

I just got back from my test drive with my new tune on my car. That's right Jon fixed me up after a marathon phone call. The good news for the rest of you is he used my intune as a guinea pig so hopefully he will be able to fix you up quicker.
The problem (as I understand it) is the communication between the downloaded file and the intune. We repeated the same steps numerous times before on the very last try before giving up it worked. The issue is like have a car that has a problem but only intermittently so that when you take it to the mechanic of course he hears nothing.
I can also confirm that the registration error and this problem have no relation as I am still not able to register my itune. The registration does prohibit a self fix though because you have to call to get the code to reset the unit to factory fresh so they can get the right file on the itune.
Anyway Jon asked me to post up and tell you I'm fixed and you should give them a call to fix the problem. Before you call I'd take a laptop with an internet connection, your phone, the intune and all appropriate cables to your car as you will probably be bouncing back and forth between car and computer multiple times.
Oh yeah and the tune is awesome so far. I haven't much time to play but the car definitely feels much better to drive.
