not really... cuz there are others with your same vehicle, that it works just fine for... the difference is the GM calibration ID's that YOUR particular vehicle has in it... it could very well be that if you went to your dealer and got your truck's ecm updated to the latest GM programming/calibration updates, that the inTune would then work just fine... as a matter of fact, one of the inTune beta testers was a 2009 Silverado guy, and it worked for his... so yeah, it's not "false advertising"... it has to do with the GM calibration in your truck being supported...

yeah it is actually because they don't state that it may or may not work on your truck due to your calid's. It just gives the year range and engine information. If they are gonna say it works for 07-11 type of vehicle then they should have the appropriate calid's in the tuner already. And yes I know they come up with new ones but the one's on my truck have been out a while so therefore they should of been included.

Actually, i just checked, and your specific calid is very old, and we dont have any way to add it right now.

If you go to the dealer and have them update the PCM, all will be well.

Thanks

great so now I gotta pay probably 100 dollars or more on top of 400 dollars for a programmer that your site says will work for my truck. this will be the last diablowsport product I buy. After years of lies about the predator and this shitty tech support I am warning ppl to stay away from this company. I willl be reporting you to the BBB for false advertising and a lawsuit may be in order.

A lawsuit?

because you have an old calibration in your truck?

You have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, feel free to return the unit if you would rather not have your truck updated with all the fixes GM has for you.

Thanks

Your site clearly states that your product will work for my year, model, and engine. It does not and you are not offering a solution other than paying more money. So what if the calibrations are old? If you claim on your site that it will work on 09 silverados then you need to have the appropriate calid's for ALL 09s. Your company is very shady and underhanded.

shady?
underhanded?

No sir.

GM makes these updates for a good reason, you would benefit from having them in the truck.

Again, feel free to return the unit if you are not satisfied.

Thanks.

Someone smack this bitch. The company works hard to help you, answers promptly and tells you what to do to help. You are tuning a car, it is FUN STUFF, not the end of the world. ebay your intune and #$%^ yourself.

no way in hell that they could possibly have ALL the calibration ID's for all vehicles... GM updates their calibrations all the time man... this is why they (GM) comes out with updates that the dealers update customers vehicles with... the updates are to fix issues with the vehicle and previous calibrations...

you have a 2009 truck.. it should still be under warranty and they shouldn't charge you for updating it - it's covered under warranty... if they do try to charge ya, then find a new dealer/service dept. because they're ripping you off...
