It can go way higher then 750hp. D3 Cadillac is making 1300 with the LSA.

I wouldn't say Ferrari "stole" the suspension. They're just borrowing the technology. Cadillac used it first on the STS-V in 2006, then the Vette got it in 2007 as an option, the CTS-V got it in 09, Ferrari used it for 2011 in the 458, and the ZL1 gets it for 2013.

Yep, they have 3 cars doing 1300hp now with a 4.2L Kenne Bell blower.

The Super Snake is available with up to 750 from Shelby, but I'm sure some owners are way over that. The 2013 GT500 will have a 650hp motor straight from Ford, so the power figures are just gonna keep going up.

I think they'll do something eventually. Even if theres not much power available from a basic tune, I would imagine that theres power to be made if the tune is combined with other mods, and I know that theres improvements that can be made in the transmission.

Funny you say that cause I thought the shifting pattern and how long it takes to shift is way off. And I feel like I don't get any better response when I'm in manual. Glad that it has traction control on/off tho. I do notice the difference with that.

Ford sells the Cobra Jet drag cars with the 4.0 whipple on them, a few have run deep in the 8s bone stock
