I also forgot to note that when installing the 100HP program it does not end or complete like the the other tunes do. It never gives you the option to unplug or choose to reboot. Hope this helps.

I as well fully agree with 07f250. I have since late May monitored this forum on a daily basis and will give credit, self included, that when my truck would not start DS was prompt in getting me back running. But… I think the 6.0 crowd is being ignored as the 7.3 crowd has been in lieu of new products. This I’ve gathered from the DS and other forums. It seems to me although Ford has had their share of problems with the 6.0, DS has had as many without resolution no matter the CALID. I purchased this product in good faith and as promised expected quick updates, numerous tunes and lots O’ fun! One would think that as long as the 6.0 has been in production that DS would have by now solid canned (not custom) tunes that ride on top of the factory tune that would benefit the typical user. Further, one would think DS could very quickly modify a new CALID tune and post those within a day or so of notification. I do not have experience with the 6.0 FI system but do have experience with other automotive FI and digital ignition systems. Considering those and their complexity, if one knew what they were doing it would not take longer than a couple hours to modify the base tuning values for the FI profile map for a new canned tune for said CALID. I just don’t understand why it takes sooo… long to modify a new CALID and why the issues expressed in this forum are not addressed to resolution. I and others purchased this performance product in good faith and would like to have timely, courteous and justifiable reciprocation.

Regarding one of my previous posts concerning mileage, one would think that if Ford was de-tuning the 6.0 for warranty issues we would not be seeing a decrease in mileage but rather equal or an increase. More fuel = more power = more stress, you get the picture. Lastly I have notice with the r19 tunes a strong diesel smell during idle that was not present with r17 or the stock tune. This alone makes me think r19 has basic fuel map issues leading to the mileage reduction.

Try having your 07 6.0L with 9K miles smoke when you start it and then try to explain that to your friends. I tell them it's a freebee from Diablo Sport and if I lived back in Florida I could help with the Mosquitoes!!

So what is the ETA on this getting fixed? I have been with DS since 2002 and I will be getting a new 08 f250 diesel in Feb to replace the 06 and those sct programers are looking nice right about now.

I guess sometimes silence is bliss... but not in this case. I would love to hear form someone in a prominent position at DS instead of the usual tech's with open ended promises...
Guys I have worked in the consumer products industry for over 20 years and customer service, no customer satisfaction is key to the survival of a consumer products business such as yours. I think from reading posts over the last 6-12 months that the general consensus of customer satisfaction at this point is dismal and is dire need of action. I have posted here, and here only, to give DS a chance to understand and prove wrong my opinion of their products and services.
A scorned customer will pass the word to many more potential customers than a happy one will. In this day and age it is too easy to pass the word around so to speak. I purchase a new automobile every two years as many others do, just food for thought.

I would be ashamed to be the manager of this department.........after roughly a year of waiting and hoping........santa will be replacing my tuner........and it won't be a diablosport for sure........it is a pretty kick ass code reader though.....

I would concur about the seeming lack of care from this manufacturer. I have been waiting since last April with zero satisfaction from the product I purchased. I dont want miracles either, I just want what I bought to work properly. That seems to be a novel concept here at this company!!!
Let me ask ANYONE at Diablosport:
If your fork only got food to your mouth 50% of the time how long would it be before you threw it out??? :?

We at diablosport do not try to overlook customers with problems. I wish we could get all these issues straightened out for you. I know you guy's don't want to hear this because you have been waiting for a long period of time. I can understand. Please be patient with us. We have not forgotten about you. Phil, Thanks for your reply on our concerns. We are past the emotional e-mails and waiting for the right moment to get a tune for our handheld. As my past post stated, I ("We" from reading the additional posts) would like confirmation from the owner of Diablo Sport on these issues and a guaranteed date that we will receive what we have paid for. If a phone call would be easier please advise and I will make myself available and take his/ hers call to express my frustration as well as fax them or e-mail the forum notes. If this is not possible then please advise me on the address and name of the person that will receive my registered letter. I am as well in the automotive electronics industry supplying all the major automotive makers and could not even begin to fathom the response on my customer if I was to treat them in this manner. Us; being your end customer also fall under your ISO Certification responsibilities’; maybe we should talk to your registrar on these issues as well. Just let us know what we need to do next as I am ready. Thank you for your time on this matter.

HEY GUYS,Was a little worried because I just updated to r19 revision from the r17 before I read the posts.Iinstalled the tune this morning and the truck started up fine @30 degrees,no white smome as it did with the stock tune.I ran about 110 miles around town and to the doctors and my fuel milage reader has come up almost 2 mi per gal as I normally got in the same trips as stock.Ihave it set as the 100hp tune.I have noticed alot of raw fuel smell out of the exhaust at idle, and lack of performance with the r17 revision only because some of our fuel suppliers have been mixing our ulsd with bio-diesel to make more money off the consumer.Which in turn is nothing but problems in the winter months.

I want to clear up a misconception here.
When Ford releases new calids, they are completely new tunes.
Meaning, we have to get a truck with each calid on the dyno, and do a full 1-2 days of testing to develop new tunes based on that calid, Then on to the next one. And they rarely release just 1 or 2 at a time, more like 3-5 which is alot of trucks to round up. The assumption that this can be done in a few hours is ridiculous.
We continually update these tunes as time permits, and will continue to do so.

Thanks

Are you kidding me Mike. This crappy tune has been getting complaints and problems since the the 1st of Nov ( as far as I can see from the forums) so where is your 1-2 days and then you need 3-5 trucks well you have had enough time, these problems from DS get fixed eventually....more like 3-5 months....this BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
