inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Was selecting the 2010 ram your idea of a shot in the dark or did diablo recommend to do this. This whole process has been frustrating and I don't want to mess anything else up? Can you advise on how you made out?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Diablo did some work on their server this morning so that's why my tuner updated with new calibration and up to date tuning. Truck went from Ram 1500 to rocket ship. Lets hope we're all clear from now on. Thanks to MikeL
Got my original sign on back, previously had to use Hemiram45

Glad to hear it! Someone must have read the forum this weekend. Wasn't happy with customer service but when the product is set up correct, it's a beast!

Yep! Got my original e-mail fixed, truck tuned and even though up here in Canada 50 mi north of Toronto, small city called Barrie, we had snow and freezing rain. Put the truck in 4wd stomped on her and it snapped my head back. I wasn't expecting that. I also just put a K&N air charger on it. Went to the muffler shop this morning for a price on dynamax VT installation and that will be done shortly. I do graphics as a hobby so the truck is nicely lettered and your right, when it all comes together it spells Hemi Power. Love it. P.S. Didn't look good for a while!!!!!!!!!

Sounds great! I don't have a muffler right now, and while its good and loud, I gotta get something on there. Losing something on the low end. Would like to see pix of your truck. Ok. Mine updated and I loaded tune. Went back in with custom tune and lost everything... as in sending my ecu and tuner back to Diablo because the truck won't even turn over. Very inconvenient to say the least. Not really happy right now because I have way better crap to do then pull my new truck apart and ship stuff off. I'm going to give them the chance to come good before I go ballistic. Of course getting compensated for being out of a vehicle for a couple days will happen, right?

Oh yeah, hemiram45. I saw in one of the admin posts on here that the registration didn't really care about details. It's more for marketing info but it does provide the p.i.n. that lets you keep going forward. So I used a 2010 pull down as that was the newest one that had a dodge hemi 1500 on it. Seemed to work. Kind of but I don't think that was responsible for my current issues, see previous post.

No I'm not a member of that forum. I think I can upload an image here but I'll have to wait till I can get all the snow and ice off of it. The Dynomax VT muffler is also what I have on my 2008 Charger. Only makes deep sound when you foot is in it (opens the valve fully) but there is no drone sound on the highway. I'll try tomorrow for the pics.

Sorry to hear that your still having trouble especially when you tipped me off about the registration manufacturers choices. Can't say that the rest of the tune install wasn't without its moments of fear because of all the other posts having issues. I usually don't worry about these things and not even my cat scares me at 850 lbs. This was different. Contact MikeL, he did send me a couple of emails and helped me determine that their system updated me properly. I also sent 4 emails to support regarding my original sign on, Thetiger but got no reply. Had to set up a new email Hemiram45 just to be able to post. He fixed that as well so I'm back to my original signon. Seems like a good guy! Keep us updated and let us know how you make out.

What!?
You got a custom tune and tried to load it and things went to hell? You can't start the truck? Wow. I think you're doing really well to not go ballistic right now. I sure hope you get satisfaction. Keep us updated.

TheTiger- dude, that's a real cat!
You win for most extreme pet I've heard of.
Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Diablo said I'll have everything back by Wednesday. We'll see. Doesn't do me any good to go crazy over something I can't do anything about. I've been making a living in professional motor sports for almost 25 years now. You learn to adjust, modify and overcome. I was thinking if I was an average Joe and this was my only vehicle I'd be in a bit of a jam right now. As it is I had to bum a ride home from work and of course I'll have a car and a truck there when stuff shows back up so there's a shuffle job waiting. I have a business trip to the West Coast so if the miss by even a day I'm out of luck until next week. Never mind being gun shy about plugging this thing back in.
I've installed and used every type of ecu software made for race motorcycles and have all current software available as we speak. I must say since they have started fuel injecting bikes around about '94 I have never ever seen an ecu get disabled because of a tuner or laptop being plugged into it. Fortunately the weather is nice so I can drive my LS6 Miata to work. That kind of takes the edge off a little!!

we think that our vehicles have power....don't test out this cat. In this picture he is trying to lean into me and it's all I can do to keep from being pushed over.

glad to hear your getting something done. sure hope it goes OK. I'm hoping my truck will start tomorrow morning....you never know.

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
after updating it and putting it back in the truck it tells me to up date it with the pc, i try that and a msg pops up and says "68059124ah.drg is in a format not supported by the Diablosport intune and will be removed." please check file and try again............
idk what to do
