Run the 93 tune with your 98 octane, add 5% fuel across the rpm range, log again and see if you get knock. If you get knock, try adding a little more fuel, or try the 91 octane tune with 5% fuel. Keep logging, see if you can get rid of the knock with added fuel. If you can't, try a different brand of fuel.

I've run every single brand of 93 octane in town, on the 91 map with +10% fuel across the board and I still get knock. I've pretty much just given up at this point. 600 paperweight.

Why not use the tune designed for 93 octane then

Thats because the Hemi is poorly designed. The combustion chambers don't dissipate heat properly, the fuel isn't injected in the right place, and the compression is too high for the way its set up. Thats why it knocks stock, and by adding advance, it makes the knock even worse.

The whole top end of the Hemi needs to be redesigned. They need to either use real hemispherical chambers, or go back to pent roof. The hybrid isn't working. They cause hotspots. And they need to inject the fuel directly into the chambers, at higher pressure and a finer spray. Then the knock issues will no longer exist. Will Chrysler do it? Doubt it. They refuse to admit when they're wrong, so they'll keep pushing this crummy design.

I don't see how that could in any way reduce knock.\
