Thanks

Loading it now and will try to install a tune when complete. Actually I need to wait to try it since the SRT is the only car we have. I want to be safe and get my jeep back before I do just in case it bricks the SRT....

Ya I am not going to try this unless this has been tried before and is garanteed to work.

I have already had to take my SRT into the dealership due to this. Luckily I could drive it in then to have it fixed. I have seen hundreds of post where this has left their ride dead.

If that happened it would just add fuel to the fire that hasn't been put out completely.

Let me know when you have a garanteed fix!

I am not playing the Ginny Pig!

Mike,

Update: I got my 2012 Jeep SRT back from service this week. Due to the last time I hooked this up; the usb ports quit working, the ODB2 would not power on the tuner, and the max g-force gage was off. Plus I needed the 30k service.

The dealership service guy re-flashed all my software for the car to make everything work again. Plus he told me he could see a bunch of communication errors in the PCM from the last time this was hooked up. He advised not to use the scanner again on the Jeep. As I told him I hooked a scanner up to read the codes and the ODB2 quit working.

Original problem connected and could not get pass the back up original file as an error code kept coming up.

I am thinking a higher end tuner is required for this vehicle and I should have bought the trinity to begin with.

Can you please tell me if anyone is having the same problems with the Trinity tuner or if I would have the problems? Also what are the advantages to the Trinity vs this tuner?

Thanks Mike!

Thanks Mike - I will give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Can anyone please explain why this vehicle is so hard to tune and add any true HP mods to it?
