I have a log I downloaded, but it's not in the csv format. I do I change it so I can use this?

from the dataviewer app, go to the FILE menu at the top, and select Save as CSV, or Export as CSV... it's one of those...

If I select file the only option I can click on is EXIT.????

k, you need to reload your log into the dataviewer... either download it from the predator again, or open up the .log file if you saved it to your PC before...

then you'll be able to "Export to CSV"...

you have any IM ??? that would make it a whole lot easier/quicker

Actully I don't have an IM...I don't like that crap on my computer...LOL. Let me try opening the file and try to save it as a csv. It is on my PC.

40??!!! WHAT?????

if your trims were THAT far off, you'd have SES lights on, on your dash... the ECM can only handle trims as far off as 20 to 25...

aaah, yeah... you logged more than 40 parameters... big no-no... not only do you log stuff we don't need, but you get a sucky log, because the sampling rate is a lot slower with the more parameters you log...

you only need to log the stuff found in my sticky...

air fuel ratio
commanded throttle position
engine speed
long term fuel trim bank 1
long term fuel trim bank 2
spark advance
total knock spark retard

you need to adjust your injector slope down -1%

LOL...I already did, after that log. I had to do a 93 tune when I moved from Vegas to TN. Vegas only had 91. I usually don't log that much stuff. Let me see if I have a smaller one that I can get to work.

ok... then let's get a NEW log - make a new log with only the parameters that I listed... so we can start from scratch and see where we're at...

I'll take a look at it tomorrow... going to get something to eat and watch the tube for a while...
