2015 Ford F159 3.5 Ecoboost Tune Problem

Flying monkey from what I understand this is just an issue with one strategy on the 2015 f150 ecoboost models

Hey JakeD, i also have a 15 with the PKCMAW6 problem strategy code , is there a update for this?

He said they just had a truck with our strategy and he didn't have the issue. Have you had the issue on your truck? I just loaded mine and haven't had an issue yet.

I haven't tried in a week but had problems then , what was happening with me was it would load tune fine but after sitting for any amount of time i would get back in and no pedal but i just plugged in my tuner to computer and it updated hope this is the fix , gonna load to my truck and see what happens good luck let me know how it works for you , thanks.

Haven't checked since update also the problem with my truck would only happen after I shut her off for awhile then when getting back in that'd when pedal was gone.

Well I got scared and just put the stock tune back in lol. I want to run the tune I just don't want something to happen to my brand new truck. I was just gonna put the mpg booster tune on it for now anyways and it's not showing up as an option

I am tuning mine now will let you know but I wouldn't worry if I were you after I lost pedal I just put original back up and all was fine.

After choosing write tune then Custom Tune, 2 PKCWAM6 (r1) and (R2) showed up on my screen list with 93 octane , 91 octane etc. so I choose PKCMAW6 (R2) . When all finished i went for test drive and immediately noticed no power down low , it got worse while i was driving to no pedal again , I crawled to side of road put original back up and back to normal so this is what my findings are. I did try PKCWAM6 (r1) and did not work at all so the latest fix was the PKCWAM6 (R2) that i first tried tonight and that i first described in my findings on my test ride this evening so still no fix for us .

Jake D, I actually started this thread on 30 June when I tried to tune my new 2015 F150 3.5 Ecoboost with the Intune. The first time, it worked when I test drove it, but had the dead pedal when I went to back out of the driveway the next morning. I've tried it twice more with updates posted by Mike Litsch and Brian McMahon. Once it had the dead pedal issue after 10 miles, and then the last time it simply lost power while I was on cruise control on the interstate at 70 mph, but recovered when I pumped the pedal (with an 18 wheeler on my tail!). All times I simply plugged in the Intune and returned to stock tune, but after the last time (on the interstate), I've decided to just sit tight and let Mike/Brian figure out what the fix is and post it here. Not happy that it has been over a month and no fix yet, but I'd recommend you wait until the engineers here post a fix.

Yea I'm gonna wait and just enjoy my truck stock for a while. I did receive some custom tunes for my sct this morning so I may run those I haven't made my mind up yet

Brian, any news yet? Last I heard you were getting a truck in that exhibited the problem, but haven't heard anything since.
