that red toggle switch i have on the dash is something to fear too!
it has another 100 hp hooked to it.
i almost spanked my brothers ls1 camaro ( 2001 model) that was before the headers and dual exhaust....right after i put the juice on it. he got me by a fender up to around 95 mph. we havent tried it since the exhast work, i think he might be afeared.
the more you read about nitrous on these geniii motors, its pretty safe if your fuel setting are correct and timing isnt too advanced, and a 100 shot is not really that big. there are lots of folks running 150's...some with two stage up to 200 shots on stock motors.
i feel like 100 is safe, i only spray when i need to....mustangs or camaros... i havent run any trucks i needed it for yet.

2500 hd.....ext cab.....6.0 ........lq4.... 345 hp????
how did he beat you? get yourself some real mods and blow his ass away. you lack gears and hp to beat his truck. air intake = maybe 6-10 rwhp. that doesnt make up the 50 hp you are lacking my friend.
if the predator was bad ass enough to make up 50 hp and taller gears, i would buy three of them!!!
I had a truck exactly like his buddy had a, 2002 2500 ext cab 4x4 6.0 and in 2002 the 6.0 V-8 only had 300 hp, not 345 hp. So as far as HP goes, not much difference between the 5.3 and 6.0, However, the 6.0 does have more torque. The 6.0 didn't get 345hp till the 2007 model. As stated before, his downfall is his higher gears in this Z-71! Get lower gears or keep the truck in 3rd and try again. Also intake does help, I had the predator on my 2004 5.3 with intake and exhaust and I was very impressed with the results. I know for a fact it would beat a stock 6.0, because I have owned and driven both of them......
Does anyone know the track speed differences the predator can make for the new VMax 6.0? (0-60 and 1/4 mile) Top speeds for the Vmax? Whats the stock 0-60?
top speed in mine went up to 125, as far as you can go with the predator. track difference in mine was 0.3 seconds in the eighth mile, and a few mph. i guess you could probably figure 0.5-0.8 seconds off in the 1/4. i dont think you guys have tranny support yet in that model, but that makes a big difference if you can turn TM off. ( torque management )
of course, mine is just a baby motor compared to that VMAX.
