I'm patiently waiting as well! Car is a slug out of the hole and does better on street tires spinning.

Hey I just wanted to know, does the trinity have software for the zf8hp70? The 8 speed? I created this post 7 months ago,I'm tired of waiting. I'm a patient person. Also I'm not going to be cursing or acting like a child lol. From what I can see you all are not even attempting to create the tuning software for the in tune. If it is indeed on the trinity than that tells me you all have no plan of putting it on the in tune. Is it for $? Idk. I may be spending 600$ for a tuner I don't need just for software for the 8 speed. I'm curious to see your reply. Thanks.

Im not sure where you come up with these theories? 99% of everything we do goes on both tools, and 8HP support will be the same. We're further along on this support than you could possibly imagine, but when I come here and tell people its happening, they come back a week later beating us up if its not done yet...so, it will come, and it will be a pleasant surprise for all who need it :)

How far along are you with the software? Is the software on the trinity? The zf8hp70 transmission is a great a transmission. Only problem I have with it is the software. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass or anything. I just voiced what I thought and probably what 50% of your customers think. Keep us in the loop! All I'm saying. If it's going to be another 7 months I guess I'll get the trinity. That's if the software is on the trinity, which no one has given me a definitive answer. Thanks

No, there is no TCM for ZF8 on Trinity or i2, and once available, both will get it at about the same time barring some unforeseen issue.

I apologize for thread jacking, but my question is in the vein of the overall topic of the thread. First, Id like to just say that Im overjoyed at the news that you guys are working on the 8 speed, after five years of waiting, who wouldnt be excited.

My question is, will you also be supporting the 2012+ 8 speed V6 equipped cars, and also, will you be pushing this capability to faithful longtime customers that own the i1000 dcx?

most anything with the 8 speed wil be supported as long as we support the cm currently.
This will only be i2 and trinity, not i1000.
