I have a 2002 F350 7.3 with a Theft Shield Theft Lock security system. When trying to install the U7170 (V.9r01) the install says complete but the truck fails to start with any of the 3 tunes - tow, 85hp or 110hp. The following four trouble codes display: P1000, P1260, P0683, and P0670. Will the crom address these four trouble codes? If so, please send them.

My 2006 Ford F350 is now dead!! "Help"!!

Post by LPphoto »

I have a 2006 Ford F350 Deisel and just got my U7165 installed into the vehicle. Everthing went along with out a hitch and the install was done perfectly with out a power interruption or stopping at any point. When I went to start the truck all the info flashed blanks and the truck would not even turn over, it is completely DEAD... When I went to re-install the factory settings my diablo says it can not read the engine type... So how screwed am I??? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Any chance you have had a Bully Dog try before you buy done to this truck at some point?
Can you tell me what revision is on this Predator?
We may need you to email us a copy of your original backup file so we can fix this for you asap.

We received the crom and updated the predator. When installing any of the tunes, the truck will at least start and run, however the engine light comes on within a very short time with the following error codes under each of the tunes. At the 110hp tune, error codes P1000, P0683, and P0670. At the 85hp tune, error codes P1000, P0603, and P0670. And in tow tune, error codes P1000, P0608, and P0670. Cannot clear these error codes. What now?

We are aware of the codes. We are currently developing new tunes to make sure the codes do not appear, they will be in the next revision.

I have not heard anything back from you on when the next revision will be available. I am currently sitting here with your product in a box and am unable to use it. Please reply so I can make a decision to wait or return it. I feel more than enough time as passed.
