I have the 91 oct tune installed, but don't have any trans adjustments options under modify tune parameters or in quick adjusts. I looked under modify stock tune and I did have some trans adjustment options, but have not tried anything yet. Not sure how the modify stock tune works? Does it adjust the settings of the 91 oct tune or do I have to install the orginal back up for the modify stock tune options to work?

for me, trans adjustments are in "modify tune parameters". I use the 93 tune, but the adjustments should be there for all tunes: 87, 91 & 93.
haven't tried to modify the stock tune, but I think you would have to install the original back up for the modify stock tune options to work? don't know.
try to modify the 91 tune with the modify stock tune options and see what happens. maybe you'll get lucky and be able to adjust some shift points!
under "tool info" have you looked to see if your tuner can show your TCM calibration with Crom 9t08a?

I had to re-install my original backup then then put the 91oct tune back in my truck. At first I still couldn't do anything with my transmission under the modify tune, modify parameters and I also couldn't see my TCM calid. So I proceeded to install tune, when it was finshed installing I went back to the modify tune, modify parameters and I had my tranny adjustment options and it also shows my TCM calid. Not Sure why it was like that but I'm gonna double check tomorrow to make sure everything is the way I set them.

So I figured out that the tool only recognizes my TCM calid and lets me adjust the shift points if I plug the DS when the key is already in the on position. If I plug it in when the key is off it only recognizes the PCM. So yesterday I changed the partial upshifts and downshifts. After the tune was installed I double checked "last tune installed" and it said 91oct perf tune with modified parameters. Today when I plugged the DS with the key on, I double checked my settings for my partial shifts. They all had an asterisks beside the options, but all the settings were different from what I set them to yesterday. And under "last tune installed" it only said 91oct perf tune with quick adjust (tire size). Not sure why this happened or if I should try setting the partial shifts again? Any ideas??

interesting. I will see what mine does.
good! you have shift adjustments now.GLP77 wrote:So yesterday I changed the partial upshifts and downshifts. After the tune was installed I double checked "last tune installed" and it said 91oct perf tune with modified parameters.
yes, I have noticed this too. shifts are not set for exactly the same rpm that is selected. they seem to be off anywhere from 10 rpm to 90 rpm, and differences seem to vary from shift point to shift point.GLP77 wrote:Today when I plugged the DS with the key on, I double checked my settings for my partial shifts. I look at where the shifts are vs. where I want them and re-set, or not.
if 1-2 @ 10% was supposed to be 2,000 rpm but turned out 1,930 rpm, my next try is to set it for 2,070 rpm and see how it turns out. depending on how that goes, I may leave it alone or try another setting. get it "close enough" and leave it alone.

sounds like something may be wrong with your Predator, not sure. if I'm understanding what you posted right, my tuner works a bit different than yours.GLP77 wrote:So I figured out that the tool only recognizes my TCM calid and lets me adjust the shift points if I plug the DS when the key is already in the on position. I tried some stuff with my tuner yesterday. I can plug in my U7137 with the ignition off, turn on the ignition when the screen says to and read the TCM calid and adjust shifts.
if I plug in the tuner with the ignition off and go to "read calibration" I get a "turn ignition on" screen. if I push "continue" with the ignition off, my U7137 goes back to the "turn ignition on" screen. won't read and display PCM or TCM calid until the ignition is turned on.
I can plug my tuner in with the ignition off, turn the ignition on when prompted, or plug in my tuner with the ignition on, and my tuner shows both the PCM and TCM calid. doesn't seem to matter as long as the ignition is on when I select "read calibration"
I hope mikel reads this and says which sequence is right, what your tuner does, or what my tuner does.
with Memorial Day, mikel probably has Monday off and we won't hear anything until Tues.

I finally got a CMR TCM file to load in my truck. for me, 9t08a seems to be doing what it should.
I think my truck is the 1st 2005 Hemi Ram to load a CMR TCM tune.

I just received my tool this week and I have no TCM calid, no matter if the key is on or off when I plug the tool in. I have v9r07a. Will the 9t08a work for me and if so how do i get it?

you're welcome! bummer that the new Crom didn't fix your problem.
