RE: Torn, Torn and Jaroll: Viet nam

This may answer your question about getting closer :

On the gm-trucks forum, one member asked about a programmer to disable their AFM. That person was told by "Mike@Diablosport" "the Predator, inTune or Trinity will allow you to do this while being able to go back to stock at any time, let me know if you have any specific questions"....Then responded again by saying "U7194 for Predator, I1000 for intune, t1000 for trinity.

Keep in mind, Trinity has TCM support, predator will not have that."

This was strange to me because he mentioned all three part numbers BUT said nothing about inTune getting TCM support. Kind of pushing the customer to the Trinity IMO...Red flags all over this, why not say the inTune will have that support, maybe because they know it will not?
Anyone else have an opinion on this???

Because if I had said 'intune will be getting it soon', you guys would have jumped all over me, and crapped in his thread like every thread relating to tcm support.

I cant win, no matter how I reply, geez.

Is the purpose of this post to question whether we are really planning to add tcm support to the intune?
if so, i'll go ahead and delete it now. in fact, let it be said, no more threads about this, you'll get it when it is ready, period.

I was just relaying information no need to be offended or get defensive. It seemed strange that there was no mention of the inTune going to get it that's all. No more threads about TCM support because people want to know what's going on and you don't have an answer? :wam:

It's important to us guys who bought the inTune for that reason only, that's why everybody keeps asking about it. There is no crapping in threads over there, people want to know what's really going on and they are told the truth about what has been happeneing and what we were told.

Chill, just looking for other opinions on it that's all. He's got the power, if they want to delete it because they are frustrated they were caught in a lie the nso be it. Supposed to be able to express your opinions here and ask questions. This will be my last post on this topic (for now), don't want to ruin it for anyone.

and thank you DS for the honest answer saying get it when's it's ready, finally.

Didn't take long for this thread to die after the threats were made...8 days and not one post. Isn't TCM support important to anyone anymore?????????

You know we all want results as well as TCM support, I just think poking the bear isnt a great idea!lol I have thought about asking about a progress report since we all know that TCM support is coming, it's just a matter of time now. That and I honestly think that it will come when it comes whether we bitch and complain about...... if it hasnt helped before, it isn't going to now. I'm getting close to going out again and dont even know if it came iut next week if i would mess with it. I would probably just wait until I get back in August.

there us a huge difference here....this can be very quickly and easily fixed in a custom tune, as yours was.
Cant add a tcm tune with a simple custom tune fix :)

Been watching on the sidelines for quite sometime about the tcm stuff. Would Diablo be willing to refund all moneys to those that bought their tuners expecting tcm control that said product was to have? Threatning to delete posts, petty! I understand the frustration of the end users, but sometimes the techno stuff takes more time to do than just screwing in a light bulb.

Diablo should have never released a new product without all options they said it would have...period! That is called product misrepresentation. Fixing the inheirent bugs that come with product development is part of the process, just look at Microsoft! So give the company some time to get to the consumer what was promised in print. When that reasonable amount of time is up, which might be now for some of you, then possibly legal action would be required. I'm sure Diablo is working hard at getting this out, and sh!t happens, so take a breath, relax, then come back with a clear head and do what you think is right.

OSD, since 3.73 is a factory gear set could you flash it back to stock and have the dealer flash a stock tune to 3.73? Then you would have the best of both worlds.

That's no good. SOL I guess. You could have Lew set up you're stock tune but that wont help if you need to bring it in for service.

You are correct, they can't make everybody happy at the same time BUT they advertised TCM support for this thing in December, that's why I pre-ordered it. It was promised a few weeks after release, that's why people are pissed.
They brought this issue on themselves. Would be nice to be able to get my money back and order an AutoCal. To late for that I guess, should have known better after the Predator debackle!
