updating intune question....

Post by bblake755 »

In the process of updating my intune to latest version. Got to last step and the unit just keeps displaying the word preparing and the spinning circle below it? Did I do something wrong or does this just take a very long time? It has been "preparing" for about 15-20 minutes now......
Thanks....

I was trying to update my inTune i1000 and ran into some trouble. I connected the unit to the USB drive of my PC and double clicked on the inTune.exe file. It looked like several downloads were "prepared", "written" and "validated" to the device, but I received the following message on the device "The current firmware revision (1r03j) cannot be replaced by the firmware package within Group_Update_5". What should I now do to finish the update process of my inTune i1000?

This is the same thing I got when I was finishing the update. What should I do?

it won't work on a MAC.. the auto-updater program that the inTune has is a Windows-only program... It will only run on a Windows PC/laptop...

you will have to contact [email protected] and let them know you have a MAC, and that you want the latest intune updates... they will get you the files and you will have to update your intune manually, by copying the update files, one by one, to the inTune drive...

Ya, they told me I had to drag them and download them...I would think they would have some instructions to do this. I just started writing the most recent download the latest one on here and it's writing now. I'll see if it works?

Yep, did nothing. Posting up dates on forums seems pretty poor. No offical link on their website to download...weak. Really, have to wait until monday to get an answer for 20 extra horse power, because they can't support the other 30% of the market thats runs IMac.

So what I am gathering from all of this is that you have to plug the iTune into the vehicle let it download the dcm info and then send it to Diablosport and then you will be able to load a tune in the vehicle??? their instructions on how to use this are not very clear.
