Frustrated.
Inj. Slope set to -6%, vehcile feels like it's running on sludge instead of gasoline. Will new log show something else, or will PE's need adjustment now? Help!!!!

before you set the slope to -6... what was it set to before, anything? did you adjust it at all before??

No. Didn't make any adjustments prior. But, I did tune with the Diablo 93 Octane Tune, and I turned off Spd. Limiter / and increased Rev. Limiter to the max which was 400.

k... then the -6 adjustment sounds fine.. should definitely not make it feel like a slug... should be better... quicker response, etc etc...

when you made the adjustment, did you select the Diablo Tune - the modify parameters??? or did you select a different tune by mistake?? choosing the wrong tune would account for the reason why it feels sluggish now...

I chose the Diablo Tune, and Modify parm. Do you think I should?

Reset back to factory tune,
Re-apply Diablo tune
Turn off limiters again
Re-log data,
DSLogRedux again
Re-set Slope

post up copies of your original backup stock tune file, and also a copy of the "last tune written" tune file...

I have an 03 silverado with a diablo predator u7193 and im trying to log the parameters to get the diablew tune but i cant find spark knock or the air fuel ratio what can i do... And does the diablew tune make a big differece i want my truck to fly its a single cab silverado with the 5.3 in it please help

you will not have Air Fuel Ratio on that model predator... so don't worry about that one...

nor will you have "Total knock spark retard"... instead, you will have and need to log "Knock Retard"

and yes, the custom tune will make a difference... over and above the regular included tunes...

Ok thanks I will log that today.... How long will it take to make the custom tune?

if I get everything I need... I can usually have it done and back to ya the same day...

if something comes up with the wife and kids tho, it'll be the next day... hehe...
