2014 ram 1500 5.7 hemi running base tune, tire size changed to 36x14, cant disable traction control getting error saying traction control fail to update what can I do to fix this?

I am having troubles, my tuner says it is up to date, when plugged into car it says may need a pcm calibration..

your VEHICLE needs an update, not the tool...

do what it says on the tool.. have to go to diablo's site, download the pcm update for your vehicle and load it in the tool.. then connect to your vehicle and install the vehicle's PCM update...

then you'd be able to tune it..

I have done search after search, no luck finding where to get pcm update on diablosport.com site. Under downloads it brings me to page 1 of this forum. When I try to force calibration update in car, it says intune is holding an original backup. I had the 91 oct. Tune on it last Month when I got an oil change at dealer, it was flashed and has been a brick ever since.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

so you did not restore the original backup stock tune to the vehicle first before going to the dealer, and the dealer flashed your pcm?

As for your Q, no, i forgot to remove the tune before i took it in. i have an Intune DCX tuner though, the trinity instructions seem like they are a little different, but i appreciate the response. i've even tried removing the vehicle from the tuner or reset the registry but somehow i can even enter the correct code as i run out of number space on the screen..

aaah.. so you may need to have diablo techs unlock/reset the tool first then before it will work, since they reflashed your ecm and you did not restore the backup first... so the tool is still locked to the previous calibration from before they updated it...

I have 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 express with the 5.7 Hemi... just bought the Diablo inTune i1000 and also a K&N CAI and Airraid throttle body spacer. i wanted to use the 91 octane tune but i could only find 92 octane at WAWA will it work together............i filled the tank up all the way so im kinda stuck with the gas......... any suggestions for the best tune for my recent up grades and the gas i have in it. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Are Throttle Body spacers bad for the the inTune i1000?

don't waste your money.. they don't do anything for ya.. gains you nothing...

those are an old-school carburetor trick and does nothing for newer fuel injected vehicles... it can also mess up the air flow and make things worse...

am I missing something or was the last update done in 2012?

I login and try to do an update. but I keep coming back to this post... did I miss something?
