LS1/LS2/LS3/LS4/LS7 etc. - LOGGING, ADJUSTING INJECTOR SLOPE

I recorded two more logs this weekend to verify my injector slope setting. At -8% my LTFTs are in the 0 to -2 range. I made a -4% adjustment to the PE setting. Seems very responsive with much better mileage on the highway now. Actually, my GTO is now averaging 24 MPG which is awesome. I'm very happy. So I guess the next step to get it dialed in even better is to go with the DiabLew tune?

I'll make a WOT log next and check the AFR at 100% to adjust even further. After that, I'll send you everything.

no... don't make any adjustments for WOT stuff...

I will do it in the custom tune... because I am able to change things more precisely than the handheld unit will do it....

so, just leave it where you have things right now... because once I get ahold of it, the adjustments you made for WOT already, will be thrown out the window and I will make my changes to it... hehe..

I have the U7198 9rxx for my ls1 trans am. I know this predator does not show air fuel but will The dataviewer or dslogredux show it?

if you use a laptop and the dataviewer to data log, you should have the AFR (Equivalence Ratio) parameter available via the dataviewer's list of parameters...

There is nothin under fuel menu that says a/f or equivlence.

Look under Misfire. At least that's where the AFR is located in my DataViewer. I like DataViewer, it rocks!

Nope there's nothing. I updated the predator software and that didn't help. I can't use dslodredux without the a/f ratio. Help!

yes you can... it just tells you that you didn't log it.. and asks you if you're logging with a 7192, 7193, 7195 or 7198... just answer YES and it will still process your log...

So what do I do about air fuel? It reads the o2s and shows other information, so why doesn't it let me select air/fuel on the tuner or while live logging on my computer?

in the dataviewer, make sure you go to view or options at the top, and select to "Show infrequently used PIDs" so that you will get the full listing of available parameters...

and if you still don't have Air Fuel Ratio or Equivalence Ratio anywhere at all, well, then your car doesn't report that parameter....

Right below settings in the view bar it says
Parameter modifiers> e40 equivalence ratio-invert

Before I do anything, what is that?

I turned both on and even restarted the computer and absolutely nothing more was added.
Isn't the whole point of the o2s to read the air/fuel ratio? So how would my car just not read it?

i have a 7198 and have thought i've done everything to run the dslog redux but it only shows the first screen with data, if i click on cruise or WOT, there's no data, can you help?
