if you go to the very first post and update your tool with the correct file for the tool you have. that should take care of it.

I tuned the truck at lunch yesterday. It accepted the tune this time and is still working. I didn't change anything on this tune compared to the prev tune. I have no idea why it worked this time and not Sunday.
I can still post the info file if you would like. i left my surface at home so it will be later.
but the good news is its working and i have missed it so much.

we fixed a few more things.
we are actaully "releasing" the fix today. so soon you will just be able to update your tools the regular way and not have to use the tester updates.

Yes - the file disappeared. fresh copy of info file attached.

Matt, are you going to disable the start/stop for the 2.7 on the release? If not, can you modify my tune to get it disabled?

Matt, just wanted to let you know that the custom 87 octane tune you did for me now has 1000 miles on it and is still doing fine. My 2015 F150 Lariat 4x4 3.5 ecoboost has never run better, and is getting a little better gas mileage in mixed driving than stock. Just have one question I need to ask since you are releasing an update to the canned tunes. Would there be any advantage to me to update and load the can 87 octane tune? I don't know what the difference is in the custom tune you provided me, that is working fine, and the canned 87 octane tune being released (with the fix for the dead pedal incorporated). Since you seem to be the expert, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

they are the exact same tunes now... so TECHNICALLY there is no difference. its up to you. obviously updating the tool and using the canned tunes will allow you to switch around to different tunes as opposed to running just the custom. but other than that no difference.
