If it is any consolation I recieved a confirmation quickly last month but was told they are very busy and the time frame was much longer now for the upgrade. Miy timeline is at a month now and no idea as to the status.

I have a 2006 GMC sierra and a u7192 tuner. The serial # is 001420. The software rev: 2.00 and Hardware rev: 1.01. Also when it starts up the number it displays is Bios V-6.01. IS this tuner elligiable for an update? Ive also noticed that the top speed limiter will not change no matter what i program it to.

My situation is/was a unique one. I sent my U7198 in for the upgrade and found Brian rather easy to get in contact with. My problem began when I asked him to put a rush on as I needed it back sooner than they were ready to ship it. Turnaround was more than 14 business days, I believe, but Brian did get it out sooner than later, at my request. Upon receipt of my upgraded Predator, I found that it had no program in it. Brian found an engineer to write one for download. New problems present inability to erase codes on my other OBDII CAN compliant GM vehicle. MPH are not present for vehicle speed, instead it is in KMH. And as of this point no Hi octane tune, although Mike L tells me it's there. I have seen a noticeable improvement with the stock 87 octane tune so I can live w/that. But, had to go out and by a code reader for something I was previously able to do w/my Predator, prior to upgrade. Also, I have yet to find any benefit from the data readers as my unit does not show A/F ratio and I did not need anything to read my LTFTs.

You do realize that your LTFTs are for part throttle driving, which for most people is 99.99% of what they do. The A/R ratio is only an issue when you are at WOT. There are quite a few GM vehicles that don't report the A/F ratio either. What do you drive?

his 7198 will not report the AFR on the predator screen... would have to log with a laptop and the dataviewer to have the AFR parameter available...

also, the KMH is what it displays on the screen - my 7191 does that too, but in the data logs you save, it will be correct MPH values instead... well, at least mine is...

How long does it take to get the tuner back? Mine has been gone almost a month. Just curious as driving sucks without it once you're used to having it!

Hello Mikel, Ifinally got my updated tuner back. Thanks! You guys have excellent products and services but I have one question. It cost me $9 for freight to send the programmer back to you but you guys charged me $26 to send it back to me. Wow freight went up 30 days! Thanks for the great products though.
