I am not exactly sure what the downshift 2-1 and 3-2 rpm is referring to. Is that the rpm that it has to go down to in the higher gear before it will downshift, or is the target RPM for the gear it is shifting into?

Also, can you tell me how much you changed the part throttle upshifts, or will I have to "modify stock tune" to see what they were?

Thanks,

The rpm's are at what rpm a downshift will be allowed based on at what %tp you are at.
I did not change the part throttle upshift points in the tunes, did something else.

Are you guys still trying to add downshift parameters to the 07's or have you given up due to the complexity mentioned before?
Have not given up but have put it to the side for now due to some other stuff that needs some attention.
If you want hit me up via e-mail with your last tune written and ill set something up for you.

This new crom is works great for the 07's! I'm loving the partial throttle adjustment.

Everything was working great on the 9T03a. I found the partial up shifts to be the biggest improvement. The adjustability for the different throttle openings will prove to be valuable for fine tuning. I will now try the the 9T03c and report back on the results. More of this latest update in the direction you have taken should be a good thing. Thanks for continuing to improve this product. It is performing better than I had anticipated.

Johan, installed 9t03b and found it a little sluggish then installed 9t03c and found it to be better, this tune seams a little safer then the 02 tune, the 02 had better gas mileage but was plagued with spark knock, I think 03c is the ticket, now I just need some trans adjustability, thanks for the hard work!

Yeah Johan I will hit you up with that email later. Do I just use the DS downloader to upload the last tune written into my computer so I can email it to you?

As far as the new adjustments on the 9t03c I think they're great. Love the new tranny shifts and the partial throttle upshift adjustment. I set my upshifts to +200 RPM's for each throttle position and I love it. Thanks for all of the hard work.

Okay, so I am assuming that it is the rpm of the gear you are currently in.

Now, I adjusted the 3-2 45% point to 3k and it is now downshifting at well under 45% throttle like it should. So, how does this relate to throttle positions under 45%? Does it interpolate between this point and some other point in the table below the 45% point?

Thanks,
Craig

Are you actually logging throttle position?
What you think may be 45% and what the TPS hows as 45% may be different.

Okay, so are you saying that it does not interpolate below 45% so it should never downshift from 3rd to 2nd at throttle positions below 45%?

If that is the case, then you need to change the 45% in the table to something more like 25%. You don't need 45% and 55%. That is a very small change on the pedal.

I did not log the TPS. What do I log to see the throttle position %.

After driving it more, it does take a little more throttle to downshift than I originally thought. However, I think that is at higher speed. At really low speed like 15mph it seems to downshift with less than 45% throttle. This was my biggest complaint and it is definitely better when I changed the 3-2 downshift RPM to 3000, so I really think that it is interpolated values for the shift point rpm vs. TPS below the 45% point that I adjusted.

When I get a chance, I will up this to 4500 rpm and see if it takes even less throttle to provoke a 3-2 downshift. If it does not interpolate for lower rpms and throttle positions, then changing this parameter would do nothing until it got to 45% throttle.

Yes it interpolates from 0% tp to 45% tp.

We still need better downshifting. It sucks having to lay into it to get it into the right gear.
