RE: orginal backup
Dang so how can that be? I thought I couldn't install a tune if the orginal tune wasn't in there.

RE: Re: RE: orginal backup
The Predator will save just about anything as a stock tune on a GM.
Id maybe take the car to a dealer and have it flashed back to stock, then install the Predator tune, should notice a nice difference.

RE: orginal backup
I never install one before now. Maybe the owner before me did. Will I still need to have it reflashed by the dealer?
Thanks Lew!
Thanks Lew!
RE: orginal backup
yeah, it was DEFINITELY tuned before by the previous owner...
I'm making you a new, correct tune right now - and it SHOULD fix your problem... gimme a few more minutes...

k, your fixed tune is attached below...
Now you'll need to load that custom tune into your predator, so...
1. hook up your predator to your PC
2. go to OPTIONS > CUSTOM TUNE > IMPORT TUNE -- the predator will start the transfer process of copying the custom tune from your PC to the predator, and will show "Importing from PC" on the screen.
3. start up the GMLS2InterfaceInstaller app (the E40 Interface app)
4. click the SEND FILE button - it will give you a popup window to select the tune file to import.
5. select that custom tune file that your tuner sent you back and click OK.
6. the copy process will begin and it will copy the custom tune from your PC to your Predator. You will see the byte count increasing in the lower left side of the E40 PC Interface app...
7. once it's done, it will say download complete / file transfer complete.
now the custom tune is in your predator.
---------------------------------------------------------------
After the custom tune is loaded in your Predator, you will now have CUSTOM TUNE in the main menu instead of Performance Tune.
Select Custom Tune > Install Tune.
** NOTE: your predator may prompt you to say that you are changing tunes, and then ask you if you want to "Reset All Parameters?" - make sure you answer/select YES to this question to reset the parameters that you adjusted before. The changes you made yourself before are already in the custom tune, since you copied it out of your car to send to the tuner. If you select NO, then it will apply your adjustments on top of the adjustments that are already in the tune, and it will get ugly.
You can also still modify the custom tune just like any of the performance tunes.
do the install just like any other performance tune, and you're good to go with your new custom tune.
-------------------------------------------------
so, install this new tune to your car and see if it runs better and fixes your issue, and let me know...
