Mike, edmoiler13 told me that you sent him a updated "custom tune" which eliminated the skip shift problem. Are you going to post an update as in a new crom file soon, or can you do the same with the custom tune file I uploaded to this thread?

Mike, what is the timeline you have for the next update? I think it fair since we invested in the Predator, we get an understanding to the wait time. This skip shift is getting annoying.

Just an update. I was hoping I had a fix, but it turns out that the tune file sent to me didn't do the trick because the VIN in the file sent to me doesn't match the VIN in my car, so my Predator won't upload it. Back to square one and in a holding pattern.

I haven't heard smack yet from anyone. What's the VIN update you received? My VIN ends in 439. Maybe they sent you my VIN update since we both sent them our files?

Don't expect any help from DS. At least not until they think it's a priority. That's the only conclusion I can come to, since they don't respond here. It's very frustrating.

I have had the skip shift happen the first time I start up after a loaded tune.. It then goes away.

Sorry if I seem a little frustrated, but wouldn't it seem fair to let us guys with a problem know you are talking about this on other sites also? Or, at least that your company is taking an interest to try to work this out? You know...the pro-active approach with an update or two? Maybe I'm rubbing you guys the wrong way, but I feel like the bastard step-child here. Geez!
Ok-ok, I'll play along. I left my info on the other thread. Hope it helps towards a solution.

I figured Challenger Talk was a better way to get a focused group of 6 speed owners than here, but hey, they beat me up over there too, so I just cant win.
Either way, we'll fix it, we always do

Yeah, I saw that. Anyhow, I'm settled down now. Just wanted to know this didn't get thrown on the back-burner. Hopefully, your team will come up with something. I will also pay more attention to the exact RPM's, Temp, and speed when this happens. The only problem, is I'm usually not paying attention and it catches me by surprise. I'll update both threads when I get more info. Again, if you are looking for a guinea-pig, I'll throw whatever tune you want at my car to test.
UPDATE!!!!!

NO SKIP SHIFT!!!!
Just an update. I have put on over 200 miles of city type driving in the last few weeks since MikeL sent the me the custom tune. I have tried my best to make it happen, but no way. I feel confident the Skip Shift is gone. Thanks to DS and Mike!!!!! Also, this only seemed to effect one specific calibration.
Mike told me, the SS elimination will come out in the future 9r24 tune. If you still need to get rid of the Skip Shift, Mike said to contact him, send him your tune, and he will do his best to help you out.
