LEEINDY said I was lying about 365hp and said I didn't have the sheet to prove it
Okay junior this is the last free lesson I'm going to give you and I will not be drawn into another debate with you. Just like everything else you've posted this is a fictious sham and you should be embarresed for proving me right again.
Let me explain a little simple math for you.
The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) created the SAE J1349 JUN90 standard method for correcting horsepower and torque readings so that they will seem as if the readings had all been taken at the same "standard" test cell where the air pressure, humidity and air temperature are held constant. Furthermore, the SAE J1349 JUN90 standard includes an assumed mechanical efficiency of 85% in order to provide an estimate of the true engine horsepower.
The equation for the dyno correction factor given in SAE J1349 JUN90, converted to use pressure in mb, is:Â
              Â
where:  cf = the dyno correction factor
Pd = the pressure of the dry air, mb
Tc = ambient temperature, deg C
The pressure of the dry air Pd, is found by subtracting the vapor pressure Pv from the actual air pressure. For more information about pressures and calculation of the vapor pressure, see Air Density and Density Altitude.
The relative horsepower is simply the mathematical reciprocal of the correction factor.
Now read that a few times and try to understand what it's saying. It means your whole dyno run is useless and wrong. With out a baseline run completely stock on the same dyno with the same correction factor then you have no way of telling true increase over stock and that's what the is the true point of dyno testing is. And if you read carefully youll also notice that your number is an assumed engine power not rear wheel power. Based on 85% driveline effiency. Now think about that. Please think very carefully about all of this before posting again. You have lost all credibility and respect was never earned now is the time for damage control if you admit your ignorance and bow out gracefully alot of opinions about you may be altered. But if you go with your history of flapping off at the mouth with e-tough guy stuff you will prove that you can't learn.
I truly hope that you can take a step back and start thinking before speaking. There are people who know more than you and for the most part those people can be very helpful and enjoy helping a young man learn. But this desire to help only goes as far as your desire to learn. Let this be both a lesson in theoretical mechanics and advice to live by. I've said my bit. Growing out of your Mario phase is up to you.

Re: RE: Mike
If vas hadn't deleted it I could make a better point. He said is truck was 365 at the wheels. And that's what I called bullshit on. His rear wheel power is prolly closer to 292.Mike_Levy wrote:I don't make assumptions. To me, its not true unless its proven. You have a dyno sheet, you're good......

Who cares about all the technical bullshit. You said I didn't have a dyno sheet. It says 364hp that's all I know. And how are they going to get a baseline ??? Ripp all the mods off run it then put them all back on. Look you may be more educated than I but I'm just proving the fact that you said I didn't have a dyno sheet. That's all they gave me. It might not have a baseline because I didn't want to pay for extra dyno time I don't know. We can be civil about matters if you don't call me a lier. Now do you still want to pay for dyno time on camaro 20hp ??? I'll record the whole thing with the camcorder. Ima take it to the same place I took my truck.

Go back and check every1 of my post. No where did I say I had 365 reer wheel hp. They all say I got 365 hp and a dyno sheet to prove it. If you can't take the fact that you were wrong in your predictions just say so. Camaro 20hp ???

my friend, please understand one thing:
reading something on the internet and actually doing it are 2 totally different things.
WE HAVE tested the crap out of tuning 2010-2011 V6 Camaros, and there is no worthwhile power to be gained there on a stock car. Thats a fact. Not something I 'heard' on the internet, cold, hard, fact. As cold and hard as the concrete floor surrounding our dyno where this TESTING took place. You have NO way to prove anything to me, until you spend months developing tunes for a V6 camaro, or ANY application, for that matter.
carry on.
