Is there anywhere on the forums that list the changes/deltas with the latest GM update file? Do you make changes to most of the existing tunes or just add new vehicles that weren't in the database before? (I have a '09 Pontiac G8 GT 6.0).

generally they are not updates to existing tunes.. they are to fix any minor bug issues that may have been discovered, and to add support for additional vehicle ecm's / tcm's....

I would like to know the updates/changes as well. Maybe a new fix/feature or something that would be nice to know about. Like when you can view balance rates for an LLY directly on the intune.

Also a mailing list you can sign up for based on your specific device that let's you know when there is an update would be nice too.

My iTune just came in the mail today, when I use the auto updater will it give me these latest files?

when you first get it - the first thing you will need to do is connect it to your Windows PC and do the registration via the auto-updater app that starts up to register it.. if you don't register it, you are only allowed to do two or three updates to it - and there are a lot more than that that you will need to let it do, hehe...

after you do the registration, let it do its updates... there are a lot of them, so it may take a while (30 min?)...

and when it seems like after its finally done and just sitting at the main screen, then unplug it from your pc, wait a few seconds... then plug it back in again.. and it will probably do some more updates.... then, maybe do this again just to make sure...

after all the updating is done... then you can connect it to your vehicle and select a tune to install...

Updated my tuner Thursday night. Installed the tune last night at 8. Install FAILED, backup FAILED, truck has a new RCS code. Tuner wont come out of its recovery mode, I've tried every update, and of course it's Saturday so no one is in the office and I have no truck and no way to fix it. Jon, Mike, Vas, I hope you check you email! I'm so screwed and so pissed. Been on this since 8pm last night and its 2pm now, 5 hours of sleep!!

24 hours... Plus 5 hours of sleep... My puzzle isn't going together..

Left the tuner hooked to my PC all night (6-7 hours). Now I'm showing all (ok)'s again. Ran the updater several times and it stayed showing all (ok)'s so I checked all the files and got brave and hooked it back up to my truck. It is running through the reprograming way to fast. Still in recovery mode. Same stuff different day.... I'm either locked out or my back up is corrupt..
