2011 Dodge ram shifting issues...when's the fix coming?

I could care less about tire size. I understand alot of people do put bigger tires on there truck. I bought the tuner for increased hp witch I DO NOT GET. And for raised shift point that i do not get. When i spend 600 bucks on a tuner i expect it to work not half ass. I know some tuners do have problems when they first come out but come on its been 7 months or more not professional at all. I think alot of people have been patient enough. We are tired of hearing were looking into it. If you cant fix your product i wont my money back.

I think the problem lies with advertising features that the product can not do.

Not just the shift adjustment

"tire pressure threshold"
"disable autostick upshift" - which states it will keep it in gear, not the above shift adjustment issue.
"reset TCM adaptation"

tpms stuff will be added for the 12s soon.
the other 2 features are car based settings, not even something you can do on a Ram, if they are showing on our site for Ram features, i will have it corrected.

Is the issue only on the 1-2 shift or every shift ?

1-2 shifts at 5600 for me when set at 6200rpm. And 2-3 shift bounces of the rev limiter around 5800

Yes they do show for the Rams. (as discussed in an earlier thread)

Seriously though, your company does make an awesome product. I know you cant please everyone and I also know that there are a lot of ignorant (for lack of a better word) people in the world.

BUT

It is obvious from many different forums including this one that your poor PR is angering your customers. Im sure business is booming right now because you are ahead of the game product wise, but believe me, once the playing fields are leveled the customer base is going to go with the company that treats them best.

If another tuning company like H&S or super chips had tuning for the Ram pickups. I would switch in a heartbeat. Customer support is so much better with those two company's. Maybe Diablo needs new people working for them that will take care of its customers. Not ignore them when they ask a question or tell them soon or we are working on that. When all your doing is rushing more products out to people to make a dollar.

Its not like we are ignoring this.

I dont reply daily, as I have nothing new to report.

Our tuner has worked with a few CMR tuners to try to resolve/isolate the issue.
The shift strategy for 11-12 Rams is same as 08-10, and there are no issues there, so it seems there is a new, unknown issue that we have to sort out, and it will eventually be found, but its a matter of time to get it done.

We have had features or parameters that didn't work in the past, and we have always fixed them, hence the reason the tool is internet updateable. We all truly wish that we could release a tool that supports 1000s of different vehicles/calibration/PCMs and that every single thing will work as it did in our testing, but when you are dealing with such a wide array of different applications, it is not uncommon for a bug or issue to pop up here and there. We will continue to investigate and find a resolution.

It's been 7 months for me and alot longer for others. Seems like a real long time to me for a simple fix. Maybe i'm wrong but i think we have all been patient enough.

Well even if there was a truck there, the issue may be a little more difficult than what we think it is. I know its frustrating but lets hope the engineers are on top of this to get a resolution resolved. It may be something that will take a while to figure out. Its very important that the trans functions what we change all works as accordingly and everything works as it should. So they may be going over everything with a fine tooth comb before they release an update that will fix the issue. Im willing to wait as long as its fixed right.

However I personally think Diablo should create a sticky at the top of the forum and update us maybe once a week until the problem is fixed. Even if they havent fixed it it would still let us guys know that your working on it. Cause silence seems like its either being put on the back burner or the issue not getting adresssed at all.

That was not tuned here, that was done in the evening, at a local shop, using CMR and an inTune

Mikel, any new updates?

With so many 2011 Rams so close to running 12's NA, we need to shift at 6100-6200 to take advantage of the power its still making. Theres a couple running 13.10-13.30 in the quarter shifting at 56-5800

Hopefully you guys can get this issue resolved shortly, but anything new on this subject?
