You just lost all credibility. They aren't even cross-shopped.

Truthfully, I don't know why people buy the smaller motors. I know in the 3 occasions when I did, I regretted it, and they didn't last long. Bought a 2.3 Mustang, 4 months later it had a 5.0 in it. Bought a 3.4L Camaro, 9 months later, it was traded in for a Trans Am. Bought a 540i, because I wanted an automatic that wasn't offered on the M5, 6 months later it was a Dinan5. All the rest were the biggest motor offered. The two SRT8s, the CTS-V, crap, I bought the Denali instead of a Tahoe just so I didn't have to get the 5.3L motor and could get the 6.2, which still feels like a slug to me. And now, just 5 months later, I'm looking at X5M's. I could probably get by just fine with the X5 50i with the base 400hp 4.4 turbo, but I know I'd regret not getting the M. 555hp vs 400 seems like a no brainer to me. Thats just how my brain works. More is better, and too much is barely enough. Think Audi TT with Bugatti Veyron Super sport powertrain. :drivingbad:

Why? The Juke-R is more expensive than the GTR, that's what I was getting at guy. READ

The Juke R is stupidly overpriced. IIRC if they sold any here it would have been like $350k!! Nissan will probably sell a half a dozen of them to some oil yuppies or sheiks in Dubai and call it a day. No sane individual is going to spend $350k on a Datsun. Then again, I said the same thing about the GT-R as the continue to jack up the price, but the ricers still buy them. When it was $70k, I was fine with it. At $100k, its overpriced.

I agree, it is slightly over price, but hey they coined they coined that ridiculously accurate dual gear box and plasma cylinder wall coating so I guess they can charge what they want. It's a great vehicle nonetheless, underpowered for what it is capable of, but put's a majority of it's power to the asphalt.

I want to thank Mike Litsch of DiabloSport for stepping in with some authoritative information that actually moves the ball forward.

While the "no ETA" response from DS was previously all we had to go on (along with the assumption that once Jeep 3.6 Pentastar was released, Dodge models would soon follow), I think this may actually be the first time DS has stated plainly on its own Forum that tuning for the 3.6 Pentastar Challenger/Charger will definitely be released!

Even if this 3.6 Pentastar tuner does not quite outsell the world record sales of the 11+ Hemi tuner, the important point here is that Diablosport clearly recognizes the huge 3.6 Pentastar market. This puts to rest the ridiculous speculation heard earlier that 3.6 owners are not inclined to buy tuners.

I am also glad to hear DS say that the somewhat limited sales of tuners for the previous generation 3.5L V6 engine will not affect its decision to move forward with 3.6 Pentastar (because the 3.5L engine was never designed and marketed as a performance engine like the 3.6 VVT Pentastar has been). Many people now see the SXT or Blacktop models with the 3.6 Pentastar as actually the most modern and refined version of these vehicles available.

More tuner options = very positive news!

Actually Volkswagen did the dual clutch first for a production car (Porsche did it first for racing), and Ford did the plasma coating first for production. The only thing Nissan did was put all the pieces together in one car. They don't even make the dual clutch box. They buy it from Ricardo. Despite all that, every time I drive the GT-R, I drove a 2013 yesterday, I can't stand the thing. The ride is horrible. Its tight inside. The sound is nearly as bad as an Evo with a fart can. I'm just embarrassed to be seen in it. I feel like I need to put on a sideways baseball cap, dark shades, recline the seat all the way and drive with my arm up on the window sill. Maybe even get some tribal armbands and Kanji letters tattooed on me that I have no idea what they mean. You know, the typical ricer.
