We're watching....and listening.

We are fully aware of the size of the market, and we want a piece for sure.

Thanks

I suggest doing some listening and watching over at clubtitan.org or titantalk.com in the performance forum.
Looks like Stillen is first to market for the 08's. Its a piggyback but as of its release today its the only option for the 08's.

I would love to test one out for the 2008 Nissan Titan. I am just going to go out on a limb and say i would love to be a tester, first to post this so back off 08 owners. (LOL)

I'm sure they would need more than one beta tester. So add me to the list of prospective beta testers. And I have access to multiple dyno's and 1/8th and 1/4 mile tracks.

mikel,
See the attached web page from the forum....
http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-p ... ost1234353
...People want good Customer support and a good product....Bully Dog releasing a half ass product. You guys could cash in if you get this right for Titan owners from the get-go!
Get it right the first time and make the majority happy to justify the cost!
That, in turn, leads to good references from initial buyers and larger volume of sales!!!!!
I WOULD have ordered the Bully Dog, IF they had removed the speed limiter, allowed adjustment for larger tire sizes, AND gave you WOT from 0. BUT, they were just too anxious and put out an unfinished product.

Well, providing proper customer support is a top priority to us....so that will not be a problem.

Simply cannot rush these types of products to market though....

Hey WillieFlo, I'm not knocking anyone here but no tuner custom (Uprev) or anyone else has been able to adjust shift points or adjust for wheel/tire size. Cobb tuning had mentioned the ability but a safety waiver would have to be signed. However, nobody knows just how far along Cobb was on the titan since they sold out to MSD and Edge Products is taking their time on releasing the Evolution for the titan. We can't say what Bully Dog has done until someone gets a Power Pup and downloads the tune and then has someone verify the results. As far as I know its in the hands of beta testers and they aren't talking. Only time will tell, but I'm certain that everyone knows that their products will be compared to Uprev and that everyone is now wanting a handheld within a certain pricepoint.

Mychael101,
The shift point adjustment isn't a deal breaker for me because I think mine shifts where I'm comfortable with it. BUT, if one tuner added the adjustment for tire size and others didn't, I would pay up to an extra $50 for that feature above the others if power and mpg specs were the same.....

Hypertech now has a product to calibrate different wheel/tire combos.

Now Bully Dog has the power pup ready to ship the 1st week of May. I was hoping that Diablosport would have been first to market on this.
3 tunes included, and the drive-by-wire WOT restriction is removeable as well in a handheld for $315 shipped. Looks like there are going to be more and more fast titans around. And at $700 there will be plenty of single tune piggyback VK-Pro's available from Stillen.

My right foot's getting a little tingly....... Ahh, the future is looking bright for the Titans............as long as they stay away from talking to Chrysler about a joint venture Titan build....

My homework tells me that first to market is good for sales, but tends to bite alot of companies in the ass. Its better to make it right, and have full support, than simply get it out there.

Thanks
