You can simply restore the factory tune and then select it to modify. You can then turn DOD off.
The Factory or 87 Tunes will not be lost they are simply uninstalled from the truck and left on the programmer.

Dude, like never before! Its sitting at my house... feeling all cooped up in that damn cardboard box, just waiting anxiously to be plugged in and let loose!!! It arrived 2 hours ago and Im AT WORK... ARRRGH. just drove my piece of shit to lunch and back... I laughed the hole time with an evil grin on my face as if to say FUCK YOU DoD and poor throttle response!!! Today, I put an end to the evil reign of terror that THE MAN has bestowed upon my $547 monthly truck payment. Today, I laugh in the face of sluggishness and rise up with a vengeance screaming "Come one, come all, come line up next to my MAX motha fuckers!!!"

i am pretty sure i can...but havent tried it. i like to embarass folks when i run them, so i usually spray. it would probably be close though, i think the vmax is maybe a mid to high 14 second 1/4 mile?
