Diablo Support for 09 Challenger SRT

They did say mid January 09. I'll give them till the end of the month. When they do release it the server may crash from all the downloading.

Hey guys, It's the middle of the month (January) I've had my SRT8 stick for 3 months now. I enjoy it and it is awesome compared to the 2006 SRT8 Charger I traded in on it, even with the tune in it. But I want to taste a program in my stick SRT8. Are we close yet? Can we trade our U7135 in on a T-1000? I need a fix...I'm a hp junky :drivingbad:

Stay late a night or two.. I donâ€™t know about anyone else but all Iâ€™m reading is soon and it wonâ€™t be long now. So I have this $400.00 paper weight. Iâ€™m sure guys are doing a great job but come on give us some details on the status. Show us a few of those dynos and what youâ€™re getting from 5.7L RT and SRT8.. Iâ€™m sure you have a stack of print outs by now. Scan and Post a few for us..

Do you not realize that the Challenger is not at the top of the list? Top priority at this point is getting the Trinity working properly.

Well if our $400.00 paper weights aren't on the prority list, then we should get a rebait and a discount toward the new trinity.

Thats just not fair, because nobody ever said the 09s were supported in the U7135 when you bought it, so it is not our fault that you feel you have a paperweight.

We've got an 09 challenger on the dyno right now. Predator U7135 and Trinity T1000 will both support this vehicle very shortly.

In all fairness to DS, There was no official announcement about supporting the 09's prior to folks purchasing the u7135 earlier than November 08. MikeL did make a small error when he said it was already supported but he thought the original poster was talking about an '08. He apologized for his mistake long before the original poster even took delivery of his Challenger.

After this little error was corrected, there was Lots of, "we will eventually", "There is no ETA to give", In November it was announced that u7135 will "eventually" support the 09's and there will not be a new part number but no ETA was specified as to when the update would be available so prior to November there could have been an entire new part number.

Please show a little patience... DS has always delivered. Late or on time, they have always delivered.

Not long ago, The trucks were waaaay behind and some thought a tuner would never happen... the posts were getting rediculous and the longer it took, the nastier the posts became. If I was a moderator, I would have banned a few of those guys, I don't know why DS put up with the abuse....but enough about that.... the bottom line is, the Ram tuner was eventually released and the update to the u7135 will be released for you 09 Challenger folks.

Follow the lead of "ywait" and keep it professional...refrain from using cliche's like paperweight, brick, boat anchor, doorstop, etc... that will go a long way towards getting the great support that DS offers.

Yeah guys, we are well aware of what we have said, but bottom line is there has been no ETA given for a support timeline, and we should not be taking blame for making sure something is right before it is released.

I think some of the members here don't realize that this tune needs to be right in every way before it is released and it's not like it's the only thing going right now, so cut the Diablo guys some slack. if you have bought one already it's not gonna go bad or wear out before you get the tune.
I know "for a fact" that they are working hard to get the tune out and serious testing is going on !
