Hey Mike I remember I asked you about the Trinity a while ago when it first came out. So since then I went with the Predator, but just recently got rid of the predator to get the Trinity. So what kind of problems are you having with it as I have an 08 Jeep SRT 8 and so far it seems to be working fine. I even connected up my Innovate wideband it as well and it logging it fine. Just curious man thats all....

Just various things that should have been fixed before it was released combined with other poor design issues and broken promises. Rather not go too deep into it at this point.

Let me give a bit more info, because I know people are curious.

Lets start with the design issues, and issues that should have been fixed before release. First and foremost, the mount is a piece of garbage. It doesn't stay attached to the window, its got no stability whatsoever, it vibrates constantly. Part of the reason for that mount is because of my next issue. Whoever decided to put the connector on the bottom of the unit, needs to have their nuts blown off by a grenade. Thats was without a shadow of a doubt, the dumbest place in the world to put it. It should be in the back. Where it is doesn't allow us to make mounts that can attach to the dash (see issue 1), doesn't let it fit in a housing, and theres absolutely no way to mount it while hiding the cable. And whoever signed off on it ain't much brighter.

Next issue is the RF interference. Its been brought up a bunch of times since release, but it was also brought up before release. Why was it not fixed when it was reported in BETA? Its obviously a hardware issue, and can't be solved with software updates or RF paint.

And while not an issue I've experienced, there seems to be a problem with it not shutting down, and draining batteries quite alot. Again, I haven't experienced it, because I don't use the unit for monitoring. My Dashhawk monitors better, its smaller, it has a nice place on the dash for mounting, and it can monitor things the Trinity cannot...... which brings us to the broken promises.

What happened to our tranny support? We kept hearing it would be done, it would be done, well, where is it? Wheres my gear view and tranny temperature on the Trinity? MSD has it, why can't you? Again, we heard it would be added when we got tranny support; STILL WAITING.

And now lately the software has been totally unstable. And I'm not the only one seeing this. AJ noticed the same thing. He's too nice to say anything, but I'm so damn fed up at this point that I just don't care anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm betting most of the issues go back to the idiot suits in management. I know for sure the BETA to production issues must. The broken promises probably do too because they're more interested in partially supporting other vehicles to make more money then to get the ones that are already covered supported CORRECTLY.

Only time will tell. If they rush it to market like they did with the Trinity, its gonna be the same way (overpriced (note the $200 price drop since new) and underengineered). If they actually give a damn what they sell and get it right before they produce it, then maybe it will be like the Predators used to be. Unfortunetly, I fear that won't happen without a major change in the front office.

And notice, none of the DS techs have disputed anything I said. They know I'm dead on right, but they wanna keep their jobs, so they can't talk shit about their boss.

Must suck. I talk shit about my lazy boss and his incompedant son all the time. And there ain't a damn thing they can do about it. :)

My boss I bad mouth right to his face. He always says I'm like the son he should have had. His actual son is clueless, and he's lazy, so I pretty much run the company. I leave, the company goes under, so theres nothing he can do about my shit talking. :p

Any updates on the InTune? Sounds like it could be out this month or next year.
