CHYA SNAP! boorah u guys are freaking awesome.
so, hypothetically, how long does it take on average to get from where you're at now, to the finished product?

LOL, thats the million dollar question!
Actually, there is nothing really that different about tuning these vehicles than any other GM PCM, but there is alot of engineering involved to get the tools to work on multiple platforms, and cover several different model years and all of the changes between them. We have the best guys in the business though, so my guess is not too long, lets say 60 days......?
(don't hold me to that!)
Thanks

Bc3tech and I, especially, are grateful as we are both boosted. He has the Procharger and I just got a turbo from Alpine Development. I know others in the 2.2 world who are not boosted would still like this as many of them are waiting for a solid tune source before they go forced induction.
Thank you for your work on this!
Confirming...2.2L ECM

so i just want to confirm this as i would have for all these guys with the 2.2L (e16a) that they will have the ability to pull/add timing, add/remove fuel...and other options like top speed limiter removal or change to 255mph (atleast that is how we did it in Tuner Cats back in the day)...
reason i say this is yes the 2.4L has tuning via HP Tuners and such but i would say 98% of these guys that voted are 2.2L guys and the 2.0L and 2.4L guys will be worried if there is tuning for the 2.2L as there is so much on the market for the 2.2L turbo/supercharger/nitrous but no tuning...
just a confirmation and yes i would pay 500.00 for the tuning

Quick questions:Will i be able too:
Disable Speed Governor
Tune for a Stage 2 Cam
Swap Injectors and tune for it
What are the Standard Features?

i believe you would not be able to remove teh governor but set it at a super high speed (like 255mph)
i believe you should be able to tune for cams, injectors and dont know about the standard features?

Considering most of our other tools all have similar features, it would be safe to assume that you will be able to eliminate top speed limiters, larger injectors (to a point), add/remove timing and fuel, adjust idle rpm, and set rev limiters.
There will likely be a 'pulley' tune offered much like we do on the S/C Ford vehicles. This would be a tune setup for use with a popular sized pulley swap on the blown cars.
The tools can also accept custom tunes from any of our nationwide network of CMR dealers, will datalog anything the PCM can see, and also has full diagnostic capabilities (read and erase trouble codes).
Thanks
Mike

VERY sweet mike! Just wanna reiterate the importance of this for the 2.2 e16a ECM - the only un-tuneable ecotec right now...

You can transfer the cash to my bank account, or send me cash, I'm cool either way, LOL!
As soon as we have a part number I'll let you guys know and you'll be able to pre-order it through our sales department or any of our authorized dealers.
Thanks

This is great to hear that another option for tuning this platform is becoming available. The currently available methods are limited in various forms and applications. I have a 2003 L61 5-speed with the GMPP S/C kit, and as you probably know that tune was "locked" by GM for whatever reason; possibly warranty related?. My setup would benefit greatly from custom tuning, whether it be on the reflash or starting with the stock tune, but as mentioned earlier the limitations of whatis available have kept me from pursuing any of those options. I will definitely be keeping my eyes on this project, as will many others who are in similar situations! Keep the updates coming, and thank you in advance.

solution for you, btw, is to get flashed back to stock, then go aftermarket.
i doubt that a GM "locked" tune will be circumventable or it'd already be done by the companies that are supporting the 2.2 L-series.... just my thoughts on it.
but then again, if diablo comes around saying they can bypass that lockdown.... shit....
