I don't see where you can adjust the TCM.

I just added it update from Mike, but I'm unclear on where to find the parameters. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks Mikel, I will still be in Japan for quite some time and will just update the inTune when I get back.

BlkZ71, that sucks. All this time wanting and now it's out and you're out of town, at least it wont be a month and a half or more before you get to try it out.

I would certainly like to give this a try! I have been awaiting the TMC control as the stock shifting on the 6.2 isn't exactly um, "crisp". Thanks,

Went to update the tune and it made me re-register. Now its updated and I transferred the file but the tool is telling me to email a file to Diablosport because the vehicle already had a DS tune in it. :?

Did you not go back to stock? If not the last update I think made it pretty clear that the inTune needs to be unlocked prior to any update from now on. I got lucky the few times I updated it but the 99-06 GM update caused a bunch of problems.

So I got the TCM from Mike (thank you!). I brought my truck back to stock and then updated the intune to 1r02. I then dragged the file into the intune folder and it copied over. However,f I don't unplug the intune within a minute or so it goes through the whole update process all over again I guess and the TCM file isn't there. I went through the process a few times of coppying over the TCM and then unplugged it right after it copied. I can't verify if its there though. Am I doing something wrong? I can't plug it into the vehicle for a couple days as I don't have time and don't want to mess anything up. Had a hell of a time trying to update too...literally took me three hours. It kept going through the motions and freezing at different points throughout the process. Finally went through and said it was updated. I guess what I'm asking is...is it supposed to delete the contents of the intune folder everytime it gets plugged into the PC?

Actually no. I had not used the tool since the last time I updated it prior to this one. Guess thats where I might have screwed up.

not unlocking the tool before updating it is only an issue when updating from a pre 1r01i version to 1r01i or later. You guys should never have that issue again in the future.

riiiiiiiiight.... that's what was said when the inTune was originally released, would never have to restore original backup first

better safe than sorry ;)

Yeah, I am sticking with the better safe than sorry mentality as well. It tunes fast enough that it's actually worth it for the "better safe than sorry" crowd.
