08 Vette needed LOCALS ONLY!!

I was only able to get 20 seconds on my U7194 that I had on the '07 vette...hopefully 1-2 minutes will be attainable with the new version. Anyone else contact you about testing their vette?

How many PIDS were you logging?

I was only logging the few pids that lew needed to look at my logs...maybe 3-4 I think?

Also, if the guy that posted yesterday in this thread decides to let DS borrow his car for a tune, would you be able to help in the transaction that I posted about earlier?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but has anyone thought to test the 2008 ZHZ Corvette? It's the Hertz version of the corvette. The only differences between the 'normal' corvette and the ZHZ is cosmetic. The ZHZ is an automatic.

It's probably around there. Then they would be 1/3 done...auto down...MN6 and Z06 left.

I'm starting to think we are getting the run around here. Is Diablosport having issues with the programming of the LS3? Your answer of "nope" doesn't sound like you're trying too hard. If you wanted to get it done bad enough, you'd make it happen. I'm not buying the fact that you can't find Corvettes to finish the work. Go to a dealer and get the Corvettes then offer them free programmers to add to the deal. You could rent some Vettes. Come on, give us straight answers. We are all sick and tired of the runaround. I know you make a quality product and I would prefer Diablosport, but I'm beginning to think it's not going to happen anytime soon. Make it happen or we will all end up going elsewhere for the tunes.

they have tested it on a bench ECM, and have it communicating/reading/writing to it just fine... the issue is, they need actual cars to tune, so they can develop the actual dyno tunes that they preload into the predator.

they don't just put any ol' tunes on there... they develop actual dyno tunes, so they're measureable increases and safe.

but they can't develop the dyno tunes to put in the predator if they don't have any cars to put on the dyno.

that's the issue.

Geez, give these guys a break. I could understand some people being a little hesitant to give up their prized Vette. Its an expensive car and I'd think about it too. If your so sure they are lying to you JMcDon why don't you give them your car, then you know it will be done. Don't complain about things you don't know. Would you accept anything but the best product? Would you like to get the Predator and it gives you -5hp? These guys want to put out a good product with good results so that you don't complain again about the "shitty job they did" and "the inferior product they make" and "I'm never buying this again" and "I'm going to go use product X becuase Diablo sucks". There is good and fast, you can't have it both ways. Good takes time, fast is easy and cheap.

I'm waiting for TCM control for my 7194. I don't know what it takes to get a handheld programmer to talk to the TCM. Yes I would have like to have had that feature when I bought it, but am I jumping up and down and waving my arms that this isn't done yet, NO. I'm sure they are working on it, I don't think they are sitting on the beach watching the bikinis (although that would be excused once in a while).

I agree with everything said. Though Diablosport is a great company, they don't have the money that other tuners like LG Motorsports or COBB have that they can simply go out and buy the 'newest and greatest' version of a car to work on. Also, I doubt any dealership would allow someone to 'borrow' a car. I'm sticking with Diablosport, as I was really happy with the tune on my 2007 vette.

Hey Guys! How bout cleaning the sleepers out of your eyes and reading my post again. HA! I'm not going to sit here and point out how each of your interpretations were wrong (READ WHAT I WROTE and QUIT DISTORTING IT). We all want the Predator tune for the LS3 to get here, I just don't feel they are giving their ardent supporters a fair explanation of what's going on. We should be hearing from someone EVERY week with an update. Since we aren't given any details on what they HAVE been doing in order to secure a car, my guess is they haven't been doing very much. If that's the case, then FINE! Just TELL us....and then we can make our own decision on whether or not to go somewhere else. I've got my balls in a binder like everyone else to get their tune on my car because they are very good, but I just want straight answers when asked why it's being delayed.

Its being delayed because they CAN'T GET A CORVETTE. Quite simply really. They are ready on their end. NO CAR TO WORK WITH. What's so hard to understand. No car, no tuner. There's this weeks update.
