I'd venture to say doing a TCM without a PCM tune in a truck would be a total waste, as the PCM is the key to the whole ballgame.
I agree doing the TCM without the PCM is a waste. But not sure if you have experienced a TCM GM truck(driving)with your tuner and then a custom tune(Blackbear)that actually tunes both. It does make a huge difference, so it feels; verses just tuning the PCM as with the Diablo.
