it will feel great for a while, then it will seem slow again.....and you might start modding..... its very addictive.

*EDIT* 367 HP stock + True Dual Flows + Predator Tune = 400 HP (Crank)???????? LET ME DREAM BIG! =)

hahahahahahahahahaha
strap it to a dyno to see some power, take it to the track to get some bragging rights. horsepower #'s look cool, but it has to back it up on the road.

Havnt lost a race yet and ive had it for a year! that backs it up. But really, if it has 367 HP stock (not at the rear wheel I know) then how many horses will it have after I predator tune it with dual flows?.. whats a good guesstimate? And dont say 315... the number should be greater than 367. Im not talking rwhp, I dont have a dyno in the area.

dual flowmaster actually wont improve it that much... the tuner should pick it up around 20hp or more..... so maybe 390ish..?
maybe more? its hard to say, i have seen flowmasters actually take away horsepower, but they sound good! i switched back to magnaflow.

I thought that having the 2 into 1 "V" pipes from the motor cut off at the V restriction (dualed out) allows the exhaust to flow much easier thus adding about 15-20 horses...

it can, depending on diameter of pipe and layout of pipes....but flowmaster mufflers just dont add that much power like they claim to.... magnaflow and corsa do, i see them on the dyno a decent bit lately.... the flowmaster hurt mine and a few others...
you running 1 muffler with a split off or two mufflers?

2 mufflers. The exhaust from the motor comes out in 2 pipes (about2.5" diameter) one from the left and one from the right, it used to meet under the truck in a welded "V" shape then exit to the muffler in one pipe in and one pipe out. I had the V split under the truck and now runs 2 seperate pipes to 2 mufflers... my exhaust note has never sounded as beefy as it should though for some reason it sounds weird. (great in idle, not so great running) My bro in law had the max in a 2002 chevy with dual flows and it sounded fuckin AMAZING... whats the difference?

that v shape for one changes the velocity, i run an x pipe, but an h pipe would also be better......
i wish you could draw that "v" pipe so i could see exactly what you are meaning.....

that v is probably screwing up the flow of velocity, you might try swapping that to an h pipe, if you can get it cheap........
like an h pipe right after the cats, then downstream have the two mufflers and dump it by the axle, it should sound as bad ass as it could then.

The V was cut off when I had it dualed out. now its more like:

And it still doesnt sound like its breathing all the way and rumbling..?

so its straight duals all the way with no connections between the two?

yeah. the only thing i can think is that it messed up the back pressure. and, the pipes where the V was cut off are kind of crimped due to the angle they are bent at from the engine are to point back to the back of truck.
