Ive seen dealers do it to get rid of the code when they were confused as to why it was there or where it came from
PCMs ordered for any Car application for the past 3 weeks or so no longer trigger this code when installed.
Thanks
Hello,
Just wondering if this issue is resolved for 2015 JK Jeep sport?
Would the dealer know if I swapped the tuned PCM with the factory original Locked PCM.
Will it show a trace or P1400 code or any other code or log?
Also when installing the PCM issued by Diablo and talking the Factoy PCM, would that be detected by the dealer.
I am looking to buy the Trinity 2 for Jeep with PCM and custom tune for off-roading in Sand Dunes.
Wanted to know if this product “Trinity2 + PCM” would compromise my warranty by being detected.
Kindly advise
Cheers
@mikel

Sweet.
Kindly help me find a contact regarding my desired tune.
I need to up the limit on the rev and be able to switch down gears at higher rpm and etc. if possible.
I am ready to buy and would like to explore the best option for the pcm.
Kindly feel free to send me a direct message.

Im not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish here?
From the sounds of it you may need to consider some custom tuning.
Thanks

I am looking into getting the T2.
However, I am not sure who to contact regarding the custom tune or how to proceed with the custom tune process if at all possible.
I Offroad in the desert drive really high sand dunes.
The Rev limit among other limitation to down shift the gear while in triptronic mode results in loss of power and momentum.

Great!!
Now if for whatever reason I would need to swap the pcm and revert to the factory pcm.
Would the code appear especially that the factory pcm in that case would most probably have a huge difference in the mileage?

No, the code will not appear with the stock tune.
Check out hemifevertuning for a good email tuning option.

Will the P1400 code be thrown on my 2016 Dodge Charger 3.6 if I have DiabloSport unlock my factory PCM, I install the unlocked PCM and add a tune?? If I remove the tune and reset back to stock will this cause the P1400?? Is there any possibility that having my factory PCM unlocked and or installing a tune will cause the P1400 code?? I'm getting mixed info and I need to be 100% sure about this before I proceed! I am getting very basic "no codes" reply from DiabloSport, I need a little more info than that as throwing the P1400 code on my car would be a HUGE issue and I cant have that happen!

So no worries or chance of setting the P1400 code?

The P1400 shows up with the stock tune and the Diablo Canned tunes, it does not show up with a custom tune.

When did you receive this pcm?

I ordered it 02/04/17. The P1400 shows when I load the stock tune. I have a custom tune now from HHP with a 2.85 pulley so I will not need to load the stock tune or swap to the factory PCM unless I sell the car or need to take it to the Dealer which I more than likely will never do as I am not happy with their idea of customer service.
