I received the 7194 about 6 weeks ago and connected it to my 2009 Avalanche with 6.0L engine. It did not recognize my truck but it did store a back up file so I decided to keep it and wait for a new tune. I have downloaded the latest tune to the Predator, but I have never connected it back to my truck since the very first time (I have been out of town). Last week (on the way to a job interview of course) after driving a couple hundred miles without porblems since I had initially plugged in the Predator my truck went haywire with the check engine light coming on, and the service stabilitrack, service suspension, service trailer brake assist, and it was stuck in first gear. I disconnected the battery and then restarted it after which it ran fine for about 5 miles before it did the same thing again. After swapping vehicles with my wife, she took it to the dealer, they reflashed it, and I have driven another 150 miles without problems. I will probably just send the Predator back because I certainly don't want this to happen again, but does anybody have any idea what the issue could be? Thanks.

Hi Johan thanks for taking time...Here is the scoop...
What I did was reflashed ECM back to original. Upgraded new DSDL. Downloaded 9t08q crom.
Then I get "Your calibration is not supported..."

PCM:
12630501 (main os)
12626756 (system)
12633984 (fuel system)
12626771 (speedometer)
12634000 (engine diagnostic)
12631173 (engine operation)
12625892 (Slave Operating System)
12626693 (engine)

It wont let me backup also....

Im mostly interested in the 87 tune since I drive the truck 80 miles a day. So is there any significant change from the previous 9r07 crom?

i just udated to the q crom but still when i turn the speed limiter off i get those abs and brake lights other than that everything is perfect the updated tune has some nice power.

I am still getting the ABS/Brake light regardless of tune or tire size changes as well ... I included the original backup and last tune written any ideas?

how do you run a log with 9t08q. after selecting the parameters ,i select watch and record now but its not recording anything

Updated to the q crom, now it doesnt work on my truck. Also wont let me do a backup so what do you need from me in order for my truck to be supported.

it should let you do the backup...

what errors and/or messages does it give on the screen when you try to install a tune??

Says i'm not supported, do you want to try to do the backup, I continued and it didnt do the backup

Did you pick modify stock tune? It will take a backup once you pick that.
If it does not then it should spit out some sort of error message, if you could post up what it says we can try to help you out, also if you want to post your vin number as well i can replicate it here on the bench.
