Ok I'll try it out tomorrow. When I put tune in the Predator it asked me for a TCM file but I told it I didn't have one, was that the right thing to do? Also, I assume this just modifies the part of 9r12 that deals with MDS and leaves the rest of the canned tune alone, is that correct? I just choose this tune from the list and upload it to the car? Sorry for so many questions and many thanks again for your very prompt assistance, restores ones faith in the phrase 'customer service'.

See above for stock tune.

Drove it today and the switch from four to eight cylinders is much better, close to stock I'd say as a 'seat of the pants' comparison. Thanks again for the prompt attention Mike that little modification did the trick.

RE: Re: RE: Re: 2006 dodge ram 5.7 MDS
Thanks Milel, Ill give the tune a try tonight.
Is this fix working also for a 300C 5.7 2007 model? I am experiencing that as well.
Also is there any way to decrese the throttle pedal sensitivity (in auto mode), so that I can use the engine torque a little more before the downshift that happens (it seems) before the pedal travels to 1/4 of its range?
I am running a performance CAI 93 tune.
Any idea?

Mike,
Please fix my MDS shift issue. I've included my tune that is having the problem, NCGrimbo_93CAI_custom.drg, and my original tune, PlumCrazy673_Original_Tune_05187835ab.drg, in case you need the original also.
Thanks!

I'm sorry to jump into this thread, but I just wanted to inject a comment that I'm sure everyone here would likely agree with.
Rather than smooth the MDS out by having everyone toss in their tunes for you to modify, why not include a line item in the Modify Tune screens to smooth MDS when selected? I'm sure your people can add that, no?
If this feature is added, then every time there is a new CROM you won't have to go through this exercise all over again.
