Support the V6 LX guys...

Hey, shouldn't this thread be moved to the Suggestion Box Section? Are you sure these guys at Diablosports are listening and paying attention to us? Why are they ignoring us V6 Charger owners? No excuse for not making a tuner for the V6 LX cars, NONE! I bet if we had a damn 4 banger rice burner, they would be right on it. I hate those tiny cars. Does the V6 Mustang have a tuner? If it does, it is disgustingly terrible how Diablosports ignores a real sports car like the Charger. Maybe there sure be an added thread in the Suggestion Box Section. Maybe they might read that section and not this one.

Of course there is. If a Mustang guy wanted help installing it, im sure theyd do it, buy him lunch, and give him a discount on the original buy. honestly, this is a load of s**t, and i think we need to take this to another vendor. they said theyre not in the market to make a tuner for v6's. the mustang has 210 horsepower stock. we got 250. yet we're not a performance car. we have hundreds of names off of our couple websites, and we're a small percentage of charger/magnum/300 owners. my supercharger is being put on as we speak, and i would KILL for a tuner. some people just arent worth dealing with. dead in the water. im out

where at 136 and counting like i said a while ago we are just a small drop in the vast bucket of v6 lx owners most of whome probly do not go on the forums but would probly like the option.

It's very disappointing to hear they don't want to make a tuner for us. I even volunteered my car so they can make the tuner and all. Like all of you, I don't understand why they would make a tuner for a V6 Mustang and not for us. I'll tell you one thing, whoever eventually makes a tuner for us 6'ers is going to have a lot of business. Then the other companies will try to make their own tuners and it will be too late.

I am really disappointed with Diablosports. They are finding any excuse not to make us a tuner. As I stated before, if we drove weak 4 banger 4 door rice burners, we would have one by now. I will jump on the 1st company that makes a tuner for our V6 LX cars. Then the other companies will be up crap creek without a paddle.

I'm sorry but I've read this thread over 3 times just to make sure I haven't missed anything. When does someone from Diablo state they dont' want to make this tuner?

Also another thing? How many 4 banger tuners does Diablo make? I dont' see them listed as making any 4 banger tuners. Other manufacturers do but I dont' see them making one.

Yes they do make a 6 cylinder tuner for the Mustangs, and who knows they may still yet make one for the Charger V6. From my understanding though it's easier to crack the code on a Ford compared to a Chrysler car. So yes they need to make sure with all the labor they'd have to put into R&D it'd be worth it.

Not to mention they haven't even finished the Hemi tuner yet. You can't expect a company to make the tuner that they dont' see as profitable before making the one they believe will net them the most return.

Donatom3 - I did see the post at one time (end of July or early August ?) ... seems to have gone missing. The post indicated that an email was sent to an individual indicating that Diablo wasn't interested ... could have meant "at this time" ... I'm with you on the making money comments ... I also figure there are a lot of V6's out there.

Donatom3, maybe Diablo doesn't make a tuner for a 4 door 4banging rice burner, but other companies do. If we had this many people requesting a tuner for such a car, I bet Diablo would be right on it. If Superchips cracked the code for the Hemi engines, then our V6 engines should be just as easy. Delaying and not confirming or committing to a market are excuses in my book. I hope in the near future, very near future, there will be a company that will step up to the plate and do the right thing and make a tuner for our V6 LX cars. There is a market for it, that is fact.

I'm totally agree with you on those points. All I'm saying is that they definitely are going to go after what they believe is the bigger market first. Which to them is the Hemi. At this moment they have alot of anxious Hemi owners waiting for their predator, plus if you've read the dodge diesel forums here you'll notice they're waiting for some fixes. It looks like to me that they're trying to not overextend themselves and take care of the markets they committed themselves to first. Who knows all this work on the Hemi may make it very easy for them to crack the code of the V6. They just need to be able to dedicate the man hours to a V6 LX project before they can say publicly announce they plan on doing it.

I'm sure you would rather have them say nothing make you think they aren't going to do a V6 tuner then maybe suprise you with one, then have them promise one and realize they don't have the manpower to come out with one.

you know i totaly under stand not spreading your self to thin but they should at least stepup and say yes or no if it is going to take a year i have no problem with that but atleast acknowledg us and let us know if they are or are not so we can see if some one else wants our money

This is there forum they must be reading.I have read the email they sent one of the members,but it would be nice for them to acknowledge us and our efforts publicly here on there forum. I also do understand they are a bit tied up with the hemi project so I guess well wait and see what happens.

i doubt theyre awaiting a grand unveiling of a legendary v6 tuner. theyre playin it out as much as they can, and maybe theyre trying. or theyre fed up with the complaints from the hundreds and hundreds of potential customers they know they dont want to help...
