im glad you finally got it working im having a surge too when i turn the car on but it goes away once temp goes up, some other guys are having this issue toocoliseum wrote:WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Finally working for me... God bless!
All I can say is (and you may quote me) "WOOOOOW". Never knew the car had so much to give...
The only negative thing I noticed is the Fan is on the whole time (which should be fixed as I put my 180 T-stat today)... I also experienced "some" fluctuation in the rpm at idle only when in Neutral... I put the 93 Octane with CAI tune...
next, I need to change my tires from all the rubber burning!

After making the timing adjustment, data log a WOT (wide open throttle) run and keep an eye on your knock sensor and your spark retard. These PIDs are logged on the default DataViewer dashboard. If you see any spikes in either of these than back off the timing adjustment.smoke74 wrote:thats in the modify tune section of the tuner before you apply itJareza wrote:Again, whats up with the missing 91 octane tune????????? Im a retard, how do I "retard" the timing by 3 degrees?
We in Mexico have 92 octane fuel :S
bump for my questionsmoke74 wrote:what PIDS should i be looking, to see if running 92 octane gas is working with my car?
edit:
im in my car with my laptop and i see knk total retard and knk max total retard.
knk total retard stays at 0.0 all the time except when i shift it goes to -2 then back to 0 all the time.
knk max total retard during wot is goin from 15 down to 7 at shift
as for spark its moving with the rpms but i dont know what i should be looking for, damn i dont even know if this info is even of some use
i did this with ESP enabled, can this affect the results as it's preventing my tires from spinning?
sorry to ask again but what is this called in the data viewer?johnc wrote:
