immediately this car idled smoother, ran smoother through rpms.
alot more power, makes up a little for the taller gear - going from charger r/t daytona to a 300 seemed like driving a school bus!

No, so far anyone with this issue has been able to get around it with a few more tries, especially after driving around for a bit to ensure good battery charge.
I just drove her home from work. I'm going to put her on a trickle charger and try again.

I tried again and again. When it finally saved the backup file, it almost finished the tune file when it caused the car to change from run to off. It said something about a boot logger fail. Afterwards it gave me the option to restore the original file. I told it no and it crashed. I tried hitting no again and it crashed again. I installed the original file and then it gives me the option to tune again but I have to save the original file again. I tried to save the original file and it failed over and over. Needless to say I'm not happy. I just want to tune the car. Please shed some light on this besides saying try to backup the file again.

OK, please post your VIN and calid (options/troubleshooting) and hold off for now so we can look into this.

wait, if it turned the car off on its own, you may have timed out of run mode....was the door closed?
had you been inthe car for 20+ minutes?

Sometimes you want to keep the door open to keep the key from timing out on you in the middle of the process.

I had it on the trickle charger with the light switches on the lowest setting, the doors closed, radio screen off, auto headlights off, and the radio off. I also had the keys in the little cubby hole in front of the shifter.

This morning I turned on the car and the check engine light was on. The Trinity found no codes but was able to clear the light.

So I'm assuming you want me to try again with the door open this time? Is there anyway you guys can come up with a release for the 2013's that doesn't require it to fail 24/25 times?

Hello DarkKn1ght, I am just wondering have you downloaded the trinity-1r10.crom first and then the trinity_dcx_gas-1t10ce_update.crom after? If you are getting an error for a bootleg file it could mean you haven't installed the "core" .crom(trinity-1r10.crom). If you update to 1r10 first and after that finishes, update to 1t10ce it should fix the error of of a missing bootlegger.

I installed the base one followed by the 1b dcx one followed the the 1ce dcx one. Should I start over and install the base one followed by the 1ce dcx one?
