Thanks, Mike.

I notice how quiet DS is now that they realize I'm not nuts and that it actually was an issue, not just on other boards but on their own. I don't like getting mocked.

My local group in PA has 7 guys left with '07s all with the same issue with the Predator. AND, so there are no further BS posts, we have tried every "fix" that DS has recommended on those "posts that never happened for the last 6 months". Fuses, different revisions, TCM resets, etc.

And, try as I may to be patient, when the problem gets "ignored" I start to get "not patient".

Soooooo, for the 100th or so time, is it being worked on now that you are "newly" aware that there is an issue?

Thank you.

I can not make heads or tails of what the "issues" are, plus many of those posts are statements from using older revisions, all that makes troubleshooting nearly impossible.
What exactly is your issue and the 7 others? Since it is the same issue.

I'm using 9R04. The issue is that the tranny won't give up a gear. It tries to stay in the highest gear possible. To downshift we almost have to floor the pedal, which, of course, creates all sorts of traction issues.

Is this with autostick disabled or enabled? also year of vehicle and calid will help.

Autostick is in Mode 1 on the tuner. Stick is in Drive. My car is an 07. I'll get you the CalID later since I'm not in the car right now and it seems I can't pull it out of the Predators memory.

Okay. The issue is:

With the 93CAI tune, the only one I've used, stock or with mixture modified, In "Drive"/Automatic/"D", the car does not want to downshift with high throttle percentage all the way to WOT. It will stick in the gear it's in without automatically downshifting to the appropriate gear.

'07 CH SRT8. All revisions.

And, Johan, this is not personal, so don't take offense. But, we've been through all this for over half a year and now "Hey! There's an issue???? Tell us more about it..." All these questions were answered time and time again. When folks were slamming DS and Mike I stood up for him and the DS reputation and Mike promised at least 2x it was being investigated and DS was working on it. It's amazing to me that now DS claims no knowledge. Honestly, you guys have such a better reputation than this. There's more at stake here than you guys can imagine. Just trust me when I tell you you need to figure this out and have DS stop dodging the issue (no pun intended).

Thanks, Johan.

Nobody is dodging the issue.
Problem is, we cannot fix something that we have never seen, and of all the cars we have had in the shop here, NONE have ever complained of this.
I can assure you that if someone came here to have us tune a car, and they complained of this issue, had Johan told them 'too bad'. you would certainly hear about it.

If there is anyone local to us with this issue, please contact us so we can get the car here and figure this out.

Thanks

Is this with the autostick disabled? If so does it make a difference with it set at stock?
There is nothing we change in the tune that would cause this, the only thing i can think of would be some adverse effect of disabling the autostick.
Please let me know if the autostick options makes it act different.
I checked this out here on our 06 srt8 and saw no change in pedal effort to make it downshift.

Thanks, guys.

Johan, it happens on the stock 93 CAI tune, before I even made the mods with heads, headers, exhaust, etc. So whatever the autostick setting is for the 93 CAI that's what it is. It has been this was with every revision. Since my more recent mods I've added fuel across the board, same results. Not denying that the Predator has made my 0-60-? time much more ridiculous, just that when I'm cruising and want to "hit it" there's no response.

Prior to the tunes or when I return to the original/stock tune the car drops down when you open up the throttle.

I'll email you in the next day or so- Predator is in my office. I was thinking about taking a quick trip down to HHP for a custom one anyway now- Josh is the king of this stuff.
