upshift vs rpm

Post by rickssz »

Can anyone explain why when I adjust the upshift rpm to a higher rpm ie +150 rpm to say 6150 in the 1/2 shift it still shifts at app 5850/5900 but 2/3 upshift goes all the way to the 6150 rpm?

What is your upshift mph set at ? Try lowering it by a couple mph's.

Whatever stock is, I think 44mph. Do I lower the mph or raise it so the trans mph doesnt override the rpm setting??

FWIW Trial and error showed me that raising the upshift MPH manually increases the upshift RPM automaticly. Thanks.
